Ricoh SD host controller driver for win9x

Recommended Posts

Hi all,  I'm trying to install a driver for this SD host controller in windows 98se on a dell 9200 laptop.  I haven't found any 9x drivers.   The 2000/xp driver is supposed to be in R86531.exe but it doesn't open all the way in 98 and says 'unsupported operating system in xp'  Another possible driver in R105921.exe.   The device id is PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0822.   I've found some Ricoh sys files (rimmptsk.sys, risdptsk.sys) that don't have missing imports dated 2006 -the 2004 versions have 2 missing imports.  I've moded an inf from lexmark as a starting point. It loads driver but when SD disk is inserted no detection.  Maybe someone has a solution- correct driver or edit a 9x friendly inf file.
