Blyster
I am running into a bit of trouble gettting svcpack.inf to run at the 13 minutes remaining mark during GUI setup on my XP SP2 disc. Would the info need to be the same as the XP SP1 disc as below, or would it need to be different?[Version]Signature="$Windows NT$" MajorVersion=5 MinorVersion=1 BuildNumber=2600I tried making MinorVersion=2 and BuildNumber=2906, but didnt have anyluck with that. All the files for svcpack to run are in the correct location and run with the correct switches. Thanks a lotBlyster

AirMaleDFW
Are you experiencing any sort of error screen or does it run all the way through (an unattended install) but just skips the svcpack items?
Blyster
Not getting any errors(Goes through unattended install just fine). I do see a flash like a dos prompt flash for less than half a second at the 13 minute mark though(its not cmdlines.txt though since i dont have it put in yet). But when i log in and check windows update, those updates are still out there. I'll fiddle with it a bit more to test if the improper version info was keeping it from runningBlyster
Alanoll
why don't you just run the files from cmdlines.txt?
wass
Running these app from CMD files would be a great idea....But It would be great to know what causes the Windows to ignore SVCPACK.INF.here's mine [Version]Signature="$Windows NT$"MajorVersion=5MinorVersion=1BuildNumber=2600[setupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\Update"[ProductCatalogsToInstall]KB826939.cat[setupHotfixesToRun]Themes.exedll.exeWMEncoder.exe /Q
