Guest
It failed because of the extra hyphen between Windows and XP. It should be "WindowsXP" not "Windows-XP". That's why I only use the KB number when searching. Fewer points of failure. Google ignores punctuation, so of course it found the term regardless of the errant hyphen. Tripredacus
I hate searching for things with Google. I wish they had an advanced mode that doesn't search for related terms and also supported boolean.
Guest
Google boolean.@5eraph, errant hyphen? That's in the frigging filename! Stupid MS-Bing.EDIT: I removed the hyphen and this was the result.Sorry, no results found for: windows xpkb2535512-x86-enu.exe Edited September 19, 2013 by -X-
Monroe
I usually don't have any trouble with Google ... I type in ..."XP KB XXXXXXX download" ... and the MS download page is usually always there either first or second.... maybe I didn't fully understand the conversation, in that case just disregard !
