Windows 2000 won't install on my notebook (acer)

Hello everyone! Sorry for my bad English xD

I have a problem... I want to install windows 2000 on my notebook (acer aspire 5742). Here's the specs:

Intel core i3 m370 2.4 ghz

4 gb ram

intel HD graphics

250 gb HDD sata

Windows 2000 won't install... It freeze after this screen xD

The screen becomes black with a flashing line above. Why ? What can I do in order to install windows 2000 on my notebook?

Do you have an appropriate SATA driver integrated?

Or can you set it in BIOS the internal disk in "IDE emulation mode" (or similar setting)?

(though normally the symptoms would be that no disk is found )

Which SP is that Wndows 2000?

Have you enabled 48 bit LBA?

Let's wait if some other member has an idea of what the issues could be (maybe too faster processo/too much RAM)?

Try describing the steps you go through before that.

If that was on reboot, it usually means a corrupted MBR on your HDD.

Probably a bad optical drive or corrupted MBR.

If it has an InsydeH20 BIOS, that's your problem. Don't expect Windows 2000 on netbooks or laptops with that horrid BIOS, unless in a VM.
