Sp0iLedBrAt
You don't need to press F6; you have an old motherboard that doesn't have SATA. You said it: you have IDE, so after you integrated the drivers into nLite (I hope as PnP), just let it finish; don't interrupt it with F6. That's all there is (hopefully) to it.Report back
Ponch
Does the HDD appear in Bios screens ? Is your XP disc an original ?@Sp0iLedBrAt, the install stops, far before PnP drivers are involved.

rogeroblivion
Ok thanks for all the help guys.I shall try to be a little more explicit whit my problem.First of all I want to apologize for not listing the HD along with other components. My HD is a brand new Seagate U Series 9 ST380012A - 80 GB - ATA-100.-It is connected to my MotherBoard by an 80 Conductor ATA/66 Cable.-It is set to Primary Master.@ Sp0iLedBrAt,I know, sorry about the mix-up, but I pressed F6 only when trying to load the drivers from floppy.Regarding nLite and the CD session the drivers were all integrated as PnP into nLite. The problem occurs while setup is starting Windows. When booting from nLite Win XP CD I get the following error:STOP:0X0000007B (0XF8980524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)When loading IDE Drivers from Floppy Disk:The file txtsetup.oem could not be found etc... @ Ponch, the HD is not showing in BIOS.... my CD is not original. I had Win 98 Original for this computer. The XP copy I am using has been previously tested on this and other equipments.
Ponch
the HD is not showing in BIOS.... my CD is not original. I had Win 98 Original for this computer. Double check both connectors on your HDD (and at both ends for the IDE), double check your jumper settings (some are different for Single and Master). If your cable has 80wires, your HDD should be on last connector.I meant original as in "Microsoft MS XP" and not "Piratebay-supertinyH4x0r-XP". Tripredacus
First, nLite threads go into the nLite forum.Second, list all of the files you currently have on the floppy disk.
