Install XP from a RAM loaded ISO image USB_MultiBoot.cmd? (Is this same as WinSetupFromUSB with GUI?)U_XP_SET? Install from USB AFTER Booting with PENTFS?FAT32? Siginet Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 The default method for WinSetupFromUSB with GUI is probably your best all round method in my opinion. Especially the BETA right now. Although if your computer has a lot of RAM the RAM Loaded ISO method is very fast. The only downside to the RAM loaded method is the wait time before you can install since it needs to load it all into RAM. I prefer fast but as unattended as possible. So the default method suits me best. I can quickly get the install started and walk away. The method of booting into PE first has it's advantages as well though. If you need to do any prepairation of the drive first... like backup files and so on you can do this in PE then launch the setup. Using PE from USB is the best method for PE since it is so much faster.Basically they all have their benefits. The answer really lies with what your computer needs are.
