BeatZero
@betaluvaBeatzero, how did you go with windows95live ?is indeed possible to create Windows 95 LiveCD, based on this project, but will not know if compatibility, stability ... hardware detectionCurrently I have tested the "KERNELEX" to the project, and had good results, only tested with Firefox 3.5.7, and work fine. But I found some disadvantages (for Win98LiveCD projet only) require a lot of dependencies, leaving the image with approximately 100MBAnother plan I have, add support for multimedia, I made some of experiments, but with little success, there is often the unfortunate error "MMSYSTEM002" This is a classic error in win98 Finally, the ideas keep coming to mind , but I not have free time to develop @kamahlyou can set the source directory to anywhere, providd it has the win98 subfolder. Personally, I put it in the winbuilder directorygood tip, thank's BeatZero Edited January 22, 2010 by BeatZero
MDGx
If this helps...Make sure you get the proper letter for the WinME setup CD-ROM [in this case X].Make sure the 2nd line below is run only from native DOS, before Windows UI loads.EXTRACT/Y X:\WIN9X\PRECOPY1.CAB /L %winbootdir%\SYSTEM KOMMCTRL.DLLIF EXIST %winbootdir%\SYSTEM\KOMMCTRL.DLL REN %winbootdir%\SYSTEM\KOMMCTRL.DLL COMMCTRL.DLLEXTRACT.EXE must be present somewhere in the path [otherwise must specify full path = driveletter:\directoryname ] for this to work.EditFYI...If you run commands that involve windir/winbootdir variables from native DOS, you must use %winbootdir% variable, because in native DOS %windir% doesn't work.HTH

MDGx
If I may make a suggestion...You could add a small free ISO burning command line tool that works from within Win9x/ME, so one doesn't need to have another NTx based OS [2000/XP/2003/etc], only to do just that.Options I know of...1. Thanks.I see the welcome screen and then a lot of extracting Windows/... blah blah blah and the welcome screen shows again. But finally I reached a black screen in QEMU when using MobaLiveCD but not to Windows 98 desktop. It seems stopped. How come?
