Kiki Burgh Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 hello Mim0! been a while since i created my last build & here i am again trying to read back on lots of stuff i know i have missed & need to familiarize myself with again. i am thankful you are still maintaining hfslipfc & making hfslip live on. my last build based on what i have i add/remove program was: v1.7.9 build 091109. 1 quick question though, would there be a similar file or method (similar to what -X- employs) used via hfslipfc that downloads all updates listed in your table & moves to designated hfslip directories (i.e., hf, hftools, etc.)? atm, i have wget in hftools & my apologies but i thought that should do the trick. appreciate your reply. cheers!

I began to implement this feature, but... it's not finished yet...
Kiki Burgh Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 appreciate the quick response Mim0! looking forward to your progress. cheers!

jvidal Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 thx, mimo!BTW, do you know if kb2467659 is still needed with the new IE8 cumm. update? ignore that. it's not. Also, there´s a new update for the autorun feature (KB971029), any clue if it replaces 967715 (maybe as an optional update, probably it contains a newer version of shell32.dll)Also needed is a decent mirror for swflash.cab. I will try to upload it to my dropbox. Problem is i am away on vacation and i access my PC with teamviewer...
Mim0 Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 BTW, do you know if kb2467659 is still needed with the new IE8 cumm. update? ignore that. it's not.Thx for the info! Also, there´s a new update for the autorun feature (KB971029), any clue if it replaces 967715 (maybe as an optional update, probably it contains a newer version of shell32.dll)KB971029 is not really new, it's from 2009. It will just now be offered via Windows-Update. The only reason for using KB967715 is to create the "HonorAutorunSetting" reg-entry. If you use a reg-file instead you can remove KB967715.Also needed is a decent mirror for swflash.cab. I will try to upload it to my dropbox. Problem is i am away on vacation and i access my PC with teamviewer...Vacation sounds good If you have the possibility to upload to your dropbox plz let me know Mimo

WU is asking for it, though it prolly contains an older version of shell32.dll.Will hfslip ignore it if another update contains a newer version.questions marks omitted because i can not type them, since i am on teamviewer right now. PD: BTW, what about kb971029. WU is asking for it, though it prolly contains an older version of shell32.dll.Will hfslip ignore it if another update contains a newer version.shell32.dll of kb971029 will be replaced by a newer update. kb971029 contains also Shsvcs.dll which probably will not be replaced by another update.MimoPS: And KB967715 is still needed because auf HonorAutoRunSettings (but can be replaced by a reg-file).
