vfclists
It seems some driver files have been corrupted on my system.I was working normally and it just crashed without warning. I amcurrently working from an alternate setup but I would like to revertto crashed setup. It will not boot safe mode as well, it appears to hang after mup.sys.I have sptd.sys on my system as well but it doesn't seem to be theproblem. When I skip it it still crashes. My last ntbtlog.txt goes back 31/10/2009 17:15. I have tried rebootinga few times but it is not getting updated. These are the settings from boot.ini[boot loader]timeout=30default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS[operating systems]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer /noguiboot /bootlogI even copied back the registries from the previous System VolumeInformation but it is still crashing. The last ntbtlog.txt displayed kmixer.sys several times at the end,but replacing it hasn't stopped the problemIs there a way to track which files are causing the crash, and restorethem from clean versions?I tried to do a repair from the recovery console but can't rememberthe Administrator password./vfclists
Tripredacus
Boot up with the F8. Then choose Disable automatic restart on system failure. Then choose XP and then tell us what the STOP error is.

beats
Stop error 0x804FB03C is pretty generic. It can mean: corrupt dll file(s), defunct memory and/or a faulty video card (driver). Also, did you already try to reset the BIOS? And to boot the system with just one RAM module installed?
