Hi all,

I'm still having problems. Downloaded lastest version from first page of topic (6.0.3) uninstalled everythin gold, rebooted, installed latest, rebooted again. Starting, select copy (in my case an extracted iso-image). It copies everything fine no problems. Se7en-ua restarts and ends up in a type mismatch (-13) failure... stuck.

Any idea,

shortie

I'm working on 64bit win7 and the unpacked iso is also 64bit.

Hi maxXPsoft,

no nothing. Now even after uninstalling and reinstalling it runs right away into that type mismatch window.

will be hard to figure out.

Can you take a screen shot of window and any other windows it shows on desktop.

Please make sure you don't have explorer open in the sources folder or Mount dir folder when it is performing operations. Win 7 is tight about that which never happen before.

Uninstall and reboot before installing again, immediately getting that error is strange since we have many using this. Might also msg me a copy of your Appswitch.dat or either msg a link to somewhere you upload

Hi again,

forget what I wrote. I started all over again. Currently I'm at the autounattended part. Is there any way to skip certain parts e.g. adding apps since I prefer WPI.

Kind regards,

shortie

Well that is up to you Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI) totally different program the name say's everything POST install you want short cuts then try doing it manually.all the info is on this forum. Please stick with Se7en_UA for a while . you will get the benefits

I choose to run cmds in firstlogoncmds in oobe system pass.

When I get to the part where I edit the autounattend.xml file

there are no entries in that part to run any cmd files.

three cmd files are created in $oems$\$1\install.

AuditUser.cmd Cleanup.cmd and Favs.cmd

Also I don't know is its related ot not when I choose

to run the cmds in the audituser pass.

During install when sysprep starts I choose

auditsystem and left generalize unchecked

when I press ok it comeback with a critical error.

Also When I check the setupcomplete checkbox and

the edit windows shows is I clcik on the cleanup.cmd

box I get an error input past end of file

and se&en exits after clicking ok

#1 you should have this as in the pic. I just ran and chose the sample.xml

BTW Need to add your user here also.

2. everyone running 64 install gets this sysprep thing, I add a note on what to do when sysprep don't start. Open cmd prompt and paste the line in there. I been fighting this and may be close to curing.

3. have never seen that. msg me your files in Install rar'd or something

#1 edited my xml to add the commands and tested in vmware

and they worked ok

#2 can't wait for the fix

#3 No they're not rar'd

More info: it happens during the install applications part

after I click ok on the add timeout box and the edit window appears.

the error only happens if I click on the "cleanup" box.

#3 Found it. When Cleanup.cmd exists but is empty. Quick fix open it and add just REM

I usually add about 20-30 apps which adds a lot of stuff in there for me.

That worked

don't know how that happened except you push the load all in APPS and no APPS have any shorctut delete. I have fixed for next release 6.04
