XxMaNsOnX Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 Well.. If you're in a corporate enviroment, Office XP is worth the upgrade. It has a lot of collaboration features, which is a definate plus. Past that though, it's not all that. If money's not an issue, I'd get it.See http://www.microsoft.com/office/evaluation...pth/compare.asp
MSNwar Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 I use M$ Office XP with FrontPage 2002.Before that I used M$ Office 2000 with FrontPage 2000.As XxMaNsOnX said, the collaboration features are very handy when communicating, transfering docs and presentations, with other office users.I like to keep all my M$ software on an even keel so to speak. The newest OS, newest Office, etc. Seems that the total Windows software environmet runs smoother with less add-ons and patches that way.I would not spend the money for my home system. Office 2000 at home is good enough for me.MSNwar - The FatMan
Aaron Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 Doesn't Office XP have more patches and fixes than Office 2k did?

Hudson-Manx Posted March 3, 2002 Posted March 3, 2002 I use Office XP standard edition as I dont like Frontpage 2002, and I would never use Access 2002. I mainly use Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. If you are a PowerPoint user and do lots of presentations for business etc its well worth upgrading as there are more animation builds in PowerPoint 2002. I would recommend upgrading, as Office XP has much more functionality. Thanks
