Junior2613 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 @pletwal_blekitny: To get rid of that error make sure you put setup.exe into the sources folder of your lightened image from the sources folder in the original.
Jeronimo Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Sorry guys, almost everything works great for me except fot bluetooth support and I have not been around lately...@Junior2613: If they can not be removed, then it is not a big issue if the other packages are removed (otherwise image is "broken").@sxxin: I hear many people on this, yet I have only encountered such errors with my .NET cleanup.@pletwal_blekitny: the language packages also can be integrated by my tutorial, if you include multiple languages then you can choose the one you want to install

Windows X Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I tried this in VMWare. It worked fine but when I test it on real machine using external panasonic bluray combo drive, it showed me error like when ppl forget to put setup.exe from sources folder in. But I did put it in there though. What more is I checked browse function and found no CD drive detected. I didn't remove any additional components besides ones provided in there and I even tried clearing drivers support removal and such but no luck.Any hints to solve this?
Windows X Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 nvm. i found the culprit. some files outside install.wim got removed by nLite causing some preloaded drivers missing. I copied missing files and solved this problem.

pletwal_blekitny Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 HiI've done everything by this tutorial and this is my comments.I'm using this lite version of windows 7 x64 since 1 week. But it is not stable. Firefox crashes few times a day, opera 2 times a day, sometimes I've got blue screen (win32k.sys), sometimes system stopped for 3 second (zero reaction) in some programs. It's not my fault I mean my hardware (6 gb DDR3, core i7 920, gigabyte ga-ex58-ud5, ocz ssd 60GB, antec cp-850) or when I prepared image. So I suppose, maybe it's to extreme removal ? to many components or packages was removed what is necessary to run stable windows ?Please help ! What do You think which component or packages is necessary and will be better to leave in the install.wim ?
