January 3, 201115 yr Author Thanks! HTH to keep everybody informed on the latest updates, as well as, to keep all relevant discussion in one place, for easier reference.Yes, thanks Den.As the OP I was starting to think that the title of the thread was getting a little out of date, although relevant when I started it of course!
January 6, 201115 yr MDGx told me recently that WildBill's installer works also for 9x/ME as it is, without any changes. I didn't test it myself, though... I installed his files by hand when I performed my latest update, so confirmation is in order. While this might be true for the former update, the latest doesn't work with Win 98SE unmodified... I just tried and got two error boxes:==================Error Starting ProgramThe Windows2000-KB2416400-x86-ENU.exe file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtShutdownSystem.==================then:=================Windows2000-KB2416400-x86-ENU.exeA device attached to the system is not functioning.=================and the update was aborted. @MDGx: Please, MDGx, as soon as you have time, do create a 9x/ME enabled installer for it!
