May 15, 200917 yr Hey all,My Targus backpack recently had some of its stitching come apart near the notebook pocket and, as a result, some of the foam padding has become exposed, thus I've become a little hesitant in using it to carry around my notebook. I've contacted Targus to see if I can get it repaired or replaced (it has a lifetime warranty) but, so far, haven't received a response from them. So, in the event that Targus completely ignores my e-mail and doesn't get back to me, I'd like to know what some of you use to carry around your notebooks, gadgets, etc. so I can go out and buy myself a new bag (preferably a backpack or messenger bag).

May 15, 200917 yr I like the Logitech KINETIK 15.4 Backpack, but it's a bit expensive, but so is Targus. Note that this is made out of Ballistic nylon... ahum, Ballistic, anything to sell your stuff .

May 16, 200917 yr It very much depends what you expect out of a "laptop" bag. I've been known to carry my old laptop in one of these backpacks more than it's "real" backpack... I like the "kill two birds with one stone" approach, but it's not exactly lightweight, nor very small. Great for travel though.

June 14, 200917 yr Just adding what I use: the HP Sleeve for the HP Mini; it fits perfectly in a carry-on case.
