April 19, 200917 yr They're a valuable resource if you want to run stuff from that era on modern computers, or have something to play with, or something to show the kids and say "back in my day, this is what I ran". Basically, I'm thinking running them in virtual machines like Microsoft VirtualPC or VMware or VirtualBox.

April 20, 200917 yr Yes, there are quite a few old software and hardware collectors out there. I used to be one myself but I recently lost almost all my old stuff in a flood.
April 27, 200917 yr It would be like binning an Atari 2600 I still have original cases/boxes/disks to many OS's and consoles. Not just for they might be worth something in money, but just a reminder how it all started out
