mzar720 Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 @puntoMX, @wcogy thanks i would like to try it but i am cheapskate i am afried to loss the 2GB ram which i will buy to try cause i think i have to install 2 X 1GB RIGHT?in the use guide they mention that my laptop ram is DDR2 533 MHz Memory upgradable to 2GB using 2 soDIMM modules (dual-channel support)but when i open my laptop and check the ram i found this512 MB 2RX16 PC2-5300S-656-12-A3 [DDR2-666]and this what igot from cpuz and PC Wizerd 2008so what type of ram should i buy? and it have to be 2x1GB ?
puntoMX Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Is there no way to take it to the shop so hey could test the 2GB stick for you? Or no return policy?Just buy PC2 5300 667MHz sticks, it's just your CPU that works at 533MHZ / MT/s FSB.
