Game Problem

Hi All,

I am having a problem with a game called Gears Of War

Recently just re-formatted my PC (Ran perfect untill now), its Windows Vista service Pack 1.

Now i installed it fine, launched the game it ran but then Crashed, tried a few more times, did the same.

Changed the compatabilty to Windows XP Service Pack 2 - then i got the Error please insert original DVD!

Uninstalled, reinstalled, still the same error!

Finally got it to Run and now im back to it crashing after about 20 seconds!

I have checked my event viewer and i get the following;

Anyone have any ideas?

Im running Windows Vista, 2.6 Core 2 Due, 9800GTX+, 4 Gb RAM.

0xc0000005 means access denied. So the game tries to access a file, but that file is locked or in use by another program, and so it crashes.

Do you have all the patches for the OS and the game installed?
