Hi!

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO Pro v3515 laptop and have formatted the Vista Home Premium os preinstalled on it because I wanted to try the Ultimate edition.

Now I would like to restore the laptop to the original preinstalled os solution using the hidden partition, but I am not able to acces to the recovery solution anymore because in the F8 boot menu I don't have the recovery entry any more.

I decided to try to load the recovery tool from the hidden partition manually, but I really don't know how to do that.

is it possible to do this that making the hidden partition ACTIVE and the actual C: Vista partition NOT active??

thak you very very muh. :)

You can do this with DISKPART. Also your recovery partition may have used custom MBR information, so its is possible you won't be able to unhide it very easily.

Hi! thank you for your reply.

I am able to unhide the partition and access to it, but I have to set the laptop to boot from it and begin windows restore from hidden partition.

Is there some way to do that?

Thank you.
