Idontwantspam Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Now that we can get our hands on the windows 7 beta, could Windows 7 be added as an option for OS type in our profiles? Thanks.
ripken204 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 and can it be added as a subforum yet? or must it be final for that to happen?
xper Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Windows 7 OS type addedd in member profile. Windows 7 forum added too.
Dude111 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 'Windows 7' should be the first base in that section seeing its the newest OS,wouldnt you agree?
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 The order makes sense to me.They are now in chronological order. Looks fine from here.
ripken204 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Windows 7 OS type addedd in member profile. Windows 7 forum added too.thanks
Dude111 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Yes but most sites have the bases listed in order (Newest to oldest (In the OS section))Ah well....
cluberti Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Actually, you are correct - it was out of order. Fixed, sort of (I moved Server 2008 down a bit to align more with NT/2000/2003 forum) - so not quite in order, but close. If anyone has any further ideas, let me know.

modicr Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) Hello!Windows 7 OS type addedd in member profile. It would be nice if you could add a new field for bitness of the OS with two types: 32(x86) or 64 ... Is this possible ?So the list of OS-es would be much shorter. Thanks, Roman Edited February 16, 2009 by modicr
cluberti Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Good point - modified, added Win7 x86 and Win7 x64 (for now, as editions are subject to change until RTM).
