Is it normal that one cannot integrate the following hotfixes?

Featured Replies

John, unfortunately this list is in alphabetic (numeric) order :(

But I think that idea is good. I have to find some list with order by date. THX

cynik606, try the attached file. Just extract it (I used 7-Zip). Please note, it is in REVERSE order. KB960714 and KB958215 are very close to the top, meaning they should be almost last in your list. I got this list from jcarle's Windows Update Downloader. Enjoy, John.

If Nlite does not integrate some hotfixes, try to integrate these hotfixes with HFSLIP.

It can integrate IE7 with all its hotfixes, DirectX Redistributable, Windows Media Player 11,

MSI installers.

Up till now, what HFSLIP can't integrate nLite can, but that is only two hotfixes on my install,

the remainder is taken care of by HFSLIP.

cynik606 ,since you have SP3, you should use IE7-WindowsXP-KB938127-v2-x86-PLK.exe. Enjoy, John.

Hello John, you're right. This problem is resolved.

Do you have some ideas for:

KB960714

KB958215

KB956391

??

First two are hotfixes for IE7, the last one is Killbit hotfix.

Best regards,

Looking at your preset file, you are using the IE6 rather than the IE7 specific versions of KB960714 & KB958215. Do a search under the hotfix number and use the version with a similar name to:

IE7-WindowsXP-KB958215-x86-PLK.exe

IE7-WindowsXP-KB960714-x86-PLK.exe
