Sneakyghost Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Most things i tested on win7 7077 x64 are already listed here. the ones i didnt see are below:xFire latest release by date of post works well.Unreal Tournament 3 patched to 2.0 works well.ATI Catalyst 9.4: driver ok, CCC does NOT work.Realtek Azalia: Vista driver installs fine but won't install Control Panel - copied over all necessary files from Vista 32 Bit install and voilá it works...Office 2007 ok on Desktop, not on netbook (won't start, needs to much ram).peerguardian latest vista-alpha release does not work - it already has probs on vista and development has stopped.Trillian Astra beta works well.Easy BCD works well.VLC works well.Creative X-FI drivers (Beta for Win 7) work well.Daemon Tools 4.30.305 include SPTD Driver 1.58 and install and run on Windows 7.this for now...
WiCiO Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 pls be so kind and write the build number you're using when saying about compatibility issues Comodo Firewall installs well on 7068 but it doesn't work.. what about 7077 (latest build) ??
spacesurfer Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Comodo Firewall does not work with 7077 according to my test in Virtual PC. I get a blue screen. The last build Comodo worked with was 7057. After that, it seems MS went on a tangent with the security "kernel" (correct terminology?).Only hope is for Comodo to updates it's firewall to make it compatible with Windows 7.
adrian2055 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) EDIT: didn't see that it was for build 7000.... Edited April 19, 2009 by adrian2055
Alan3224 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 AutoIt 3.3 (At least the compiled .Exe's created in AutoIt) rdeploy 6.8 (Imaging software similar to ghost).
spacesurfer Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Well, here's my RC build 7100 list so far:These work without a problem:* Microsoft Office 2007 SP2* Avast Antivirus 4.8.xxx* AI Roboform 6.9.xxx* UltraISO 9.3.xxx* Winrar 3.8* CoreAVC* Firefox 3.0.10 (I wish they would update the jumplist feature like for IE)* Notepad2* CCleaner 2.xxx* Media Player Classic* Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended (x64)* Microsoft Virtual PC (x64)* Microsoft Money 2007Doesn't work:* Comodo Firewall (still causes blue screen )The best build for Comodo Firewall compatibility has been 7057. After that, none are compatible according to my observation.

Smiley89 Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I updated my previous post here to build 7100 and did an overall cleanup.I'll test again all apps I tested in Beta to make the post less confusing.
spacesurfer Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 I updated my previous post here to build 7100 and did an overall cleanup.Whoa! You might want to use a darker shade of green. I can barely read the bright green text.
cluberti Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Agreed - against the blue background, it's almost completely illegible.
rottenlife Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 at last, my phone SE w960i can connect with windows 7 RC 7100.on beta, SE PC Suite cannot be installed, even after using Troubleshoot Capability.now it can be installed, but still with Troubleshoot Compability. and i use the msi file, not setup direct from CD installer.but kaspersky internet security 7.0.1.325 now cannot be installed. it says driver compability now i use ESET Smart Bussines for antivirus.
cluberti Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 but kaspersky internet security 7.0.1.325 now cannot be installed. it says driver compability now i use ESET Smart Bussines for antivirus.Kaspersky has a version of their antivirus product specifically built for Win7, and other product versions are not slated to have updates for Win7 until RTM, so this is not surprising.

I now use v.8.0.0.506 (although not designed for 7) and it's works B-E-A-utifully!!
