olobay Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Hi,I tried to install Ninja Trader last night. The setup.exe started running but then nothing happened. This morning I tried to install Microsoft Data Access Component version 2.8 which I downloaded from Microsoft but same thing. The .msi starts but then nothing happens. I am running Vista Home Basic on a Dell Vostro 1700 laptop 1.6 Core 2 Duo with 2gb RAM. I checked Event Viewer but I can't seem to find anything in there.Thanks. CoffeeFiend Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 They say it runs fine on Vista, and they even say "XP or Vista" in their requirements, so it's not a Vista issue. Tripredacus Posted September 10, 2008 Share Posted September 10, 2008 If they are infact .msi files, there should be a log for them under the source MSIInstaller, and it will write an event whether there was an error, or if it completed successfully.
