any method i can install .net framework 1.1 with trim out winsxs folder?

i have a vista sp1 without winsxs, when i install .net framework 1.1, it can't install, please help

AFAIK .net framework doesnt need winsxs

are you sure you havent removed .net framework

check if its still there by going into command prompt and running vlite through there but instead of putting "vlite.exe" put "vlite.exe -extreme"

i have tried with extreme, .net framework is here, but still cant install .net framework 1.1, please help

vista have .net 2 or .net3

dont think its have 1.1

no, only .net 2.0 and 3.0 are part of Vista
