Kelsenellenelvian Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 no cmd windows or anything like that, all it is is a simple addreg.inf that makes the needed reg entries at t-13.
njcomputers Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Here is a simple addon for you that will enable quicklaunch for all users...kels, awesome, hats off to you...you can also create a profile on an xp machine including quicklaunch, wallpaper, desktop icons, pretty much anything you want and copy the profile to $OEM$>$Docs>All Users... this gives you much more power than just quick launch..
meowing Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 you can also create a profile on an xp machine including quicklaunch, wallpaper, desktop icons, pretty much anything you want and copy the profile to $OEM$>$Docs>All Users... this gives you much more power than just quick launch..Which is precisely the problem: You can't push everything onto the next install; It would mean one hell of a job installing all user's software unattended etc. Plus resolution, refresh rate, fonts, size and color settings etc. will cause huge problems. The Quicklaunch bar should be separate from that.
LeveL Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 no cmd windows or anything like that, all it is is a simple addreg.inf that makes the needed reg entries at t-13.Erk! I tried it on XP x64 and no go, needs a different bunch of hex in Quick.inf I guess?Kel I PM'ed you.
