an idea for a feature would be to have the program warn if the host OS is vista/2008 since SP3 cant be properly integrated on a vista/2008 system

the first reason why i made this tool is, - as far as possible - getting original xp cd with sp3 and N

secondly for the people who has sp0 disks.

now, i could remove some things from the installation and follow the steps of nlite.

but i don't want this. nor will i.

i respect the work of nuhi for some people he make great job,

but i don't (want) understand why i remove something if i have/use an original version ?!

easy's program is more "transparent" and "regular" than nLite which is for more customizing/optimizing but we don't see/know what is done by nLite (while respecting nuhi :-p)

I agree - IE7 and WMP11 would be great; and when IE8 comes out, that would be excellent. Is there an alternative to nLite to do this? If it can be done manually, anyone know how?

with this tool i wanted to get original sp3 disk.

i will make a new one with the latest updates.

i will put a list of sp4 updates on my server,

so you dont need download the tool every month.

after i tried many times, i couldn't integrate the ie7 and wmp11 completely.

i get always wmdrmsdk.dll error.

i've used the sereby's wmp11 files.

the same with ie7. it cannot integrate properly.

must i use the runonceex after installation ?

adding ie7 to sp3 disc is really simple using nlite however adding wmp11 to the sp3 i have yet to do i used the guide on http://blogs.zdnet.com/hardware/?p=1849&page=1 to put both inside my sp3 disc and the ie7 installed however the wmp11 didn't install i read somewhere that you need .net framework 2.0 for wmp11 and i don't know how to intergate those into my disc. but the ie7 guide and files from the link i provided work perfect

i have create a new version of this tool.

... but i have bad news to english speaking people

first of all i need your help so i make an update-list of english hotfixes.

then, this tool looks for an update list from my server and download/integrate

the newest updates from microsoft website (automatically)

i 've just created for the german language so i need an actual update list for the

english windows xp.

at the moment there's only hotfixes and no updates included.

what about the idea of putting newest update lists for xp (2003,...) ?

i mean the updates when installing xp from scratch. not the old and replaced ones.

Hi message for EASY

I have not yet used your application but it sounds like it could do the job...

However I have had problems with the SATA & RAID drivers seeing the 1TB HDD, I have copied the orginal XP pro to drive and added as Gdragon advised, though I am waiting for a post if there's anything else required. But may you could add something simple I am not sure because if you can't see the drive to load the whole thing is a waste. But my question was this I noticed that you copy for the CD drive can it read from the HDD if I have made this type of amendment.

Allerdings habe ich Probleme mit dem SATA-RAID-Treiber sehen, die 1 TB Festplatte, habe ich kopiert, das Original XP Pro zu fahren und fügte hinzu, wie Gdragon beraten, wenn ich warten, wenn für eine Stelle gibt es etwas anderes erforderlich. Aber Mai können Sie etwas einfache Ich bin nicht sicher, denn wenn man nicht sehen kann das Laufwerk zu laden, das Ganze ist eine Verschwendung. Aber meine Frage war, habe ich festgestellt, dass Sie für die Kopie der CD-ROM-Laufwerk kann es von der Festplatte lesen, wenn ich diese Art der Änderung.

Easy hasn't posted since december 08, so hopefully someone who read the whole thread and knows more about that tool will answer your question. Chance is you'll be pointed to nLite and its text mode driver integration. nLite has much more options but you don't have to use them all.

this tool is only for integrating sp3 into windowsxp-cd.

its not for including some drivers.

thx for using this tool. i'm working on new app that includes newest updates.
