Ixeon
Does Win XP without Service Packs see all 4 cores?
MrCobra
Yes, as long as the correct multiprocessor support was detected and loaded properly when you first installed it.
Idontwantspam
it should work just fine. However, I've got to ask - why on earth are you running XP with no service packs?! Seems like a kind of crazy thing to do...
TravisO
Seems like a kind of crazy thing to do...It's not crazy, it's just moronic. I'm sure he'll have some absurd excuse why... until his PC gets RPC exploited to hell and back.

Seems like a kind of crazy thing to do... My computer at home doesn't have any service packs installed... but I do have USB 2.0 functionality. Idontwantspam
But... why wouldn't you apply the service packs, other than just to be stubborn? It seems like a bad idea - MS stopped offering security updates to SP1 users about a year ago, I do't even know how long it's been since SP0 was supported... Windows update does not work because it tries to look for a SUS which doesn't exist. However I have no problems with it and apply fixes only if i need to.
