[WXP] Personalised Start Menu Not Working Anymore

this is the reg file i have applied just before the start menu on windows xp dramatically shrinked (no more my music, my pictures etc.) and stopped recording my the programmes i use the most. do you have any idea what disabled that functionnality?

If you create a new user profile, do they have the same problem?

If no, then it's something in your profile or under HKCU, or the permissions on the "C:\Documents" folder you pointed to, I would guess.

If yes, then it's one of the myriad of system-wide tweaks you made (but to my knowledge explorer.exe doesn't have any reliance on service startup type with respect to the Start menu)

Also, why are you using the "AlwaysUnloadDll" tweak?

It hasn't had an effect from Windows 2000 onwards...

I re-installed Windows XP Pro with the SP3 through nLite, and I get the same problem, my personnalised menu does not work.

I could not find a workaround to fix this on the Internet.

Would you mind having a look at my presets and tell me if there is something wrong with them?

cant you just check back on personalised start menu under new start menu settings? It works here and ive always applied that tweak.

There is nothing in that reg fie which can or will cause you the problems you are experiencing. (however: "Favourites" ="C:\\Documents\\Favourites")

From your presets attachment it is evident that you've used nLite, so your problem will now be transferred to the nLite Forum in order to attempt to attract more suitable help.
