Chrno
I got my vLited Vista to about 950mb with the Japanese language support included (some 250mb~) and the latest nvidia driver for x64, and no hotfixes were included atm since I currently tried the latest vLite build and forgot to include them.Again CD's are out in this era. Haven't bought any since early 2000. Edited January 5, 2008 by Chrno
suryad
Yes CDs are out this era but I would still be able to love to have SP1 and Vista fit on a CD. That OS needs all the help it can get!
medhunter
~750MB is the minimum size for 64bit Ultimate, without hotfixes, sxs kept. This around 750MB would install on how many gigs?
Razorwing
I think your gonna have to accept the fact that fitting Vista on a CD with SP1 is not going to happen. SP1 RC alone is 730MB, Vista OS based on medhunter is 750MB so thats 1.4GB with loads of stuff excluded from the install.
suryad
I see what you are saying razorwing but I dont think you can simply add two things together. Like for example the SP1 for Win XP 64 bit was 300 mb or so. Yet my ISO for XP 64 bit is 230 MB with the SP slipstreamed into it..
