Panarchy Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 ^What's heatsink? Is that another thing to add to my list?!?
Nerwin Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 ^What's heatsink? Is that another thing to add to my list?!?Heatsink is whats going to cool your CPU from overheating, you have to have it unless you plan on running it for a few minutes until it dies lol which, i know is going to be NO.. The one Ripken suggested is a really good one. it will keep that quad core nice and cool.

Zxian Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 @Panarchy... two things...First - you don't need to make 5 different threads all about the same computer build. You've got one system to build, and you can get all your answers in one place.Secondly - slow down... you're rushing into this, and I can tell you from experience, something WILL go wrong if you don't slow down. Especially considering that this is your first build... slow down. You need to learn how to crawl before you learn how to walk, let alone run.
