burning engine?

Featured Replies

What engine does nlite use for burning?

nlite makes ISO files which you then burn to disk with another burning application

nlite doesn't do any burning itself

wrong, nLite 1.4beta does burn ISOs, dunno abt prev versions.

My view is N Lite creates a ISO file.

But no burning takes place until you use Nero or another burning application.

I know other applications reply on the Nero engine, so maybe this will only be available when Nero is installed.

??????????? why do people reply with their "view" before actually checking what they say when someone already pointed out that they were wrong ? :(

What about the popup menu with "Direct Burn" choice ? Why chose a burner if "no burning takes place" ?

Let the knowledgable answer the question. I, for instance, don't have a clue. :D

I don't blame wrong answers, that option came with the last versions, OK, I blame people not thinking that they could be wrong when "the orange light is on".
