Hi, i bought a new acer aspire 4720 last week,but i get a error message to request me to install sata driver to continue install windows xp professional. i dont hv usb externel floppy drive eventhought i get downloaded the sata driver from acer website.so , i found a software called NLITE. it can help me to re-create a new bootable disc with insert the sata driver together. but what are the problem i faced is eventhoguth i insert the correct sata driver to the bootable disc and i still get the error message thats request me to install sata driver. so anyone has ever used this software and successful created the bootable disc pls help me and told me what step i missing or .......................????????thanks you for helping me

You need to have the TXTSETUP.OEM file in the same folder as your INF/DLL/SYS/CAT files for your SATA/RAID driver. When you integrate these with nLite, a dialog box will appear asking you to specify the appropriate operating system. Once you do that, proceed as usual with making your ISO and then your SATA/RAID drivers will be installed without the need for F6 and a floppy.

also you can grab the mass storage driver pack from driverpacks.net and use driver pack base to intergrate it. also if you can grab other driverpacks and intergrate them into your cd.

Sure, if he wants to inflate his CD into a DVD using a boatload of drivers that are ultimately useless to him. :rolleyes:
