Andromeda43 Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Good news for all the die-hard Spybot S&D users.After several years of waiting for the new version of Spybot, it's HERE!If you have version 1.4 already set up on your PC, the new Ver 1.5 will install right over it and keep all your custom settings.I downloaded it just this morning and I'm sure glad to have it.Don't forget to "IMMUNIZE" every time you get an update.I think they are still posting updates on Wednesdays.Stay Safe, Get those updates!Andromeda43 B)
Tarun Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Yeeah, actually he recommends that you fully uninstall Spybot 1.4 to avoid a lot of duplicate and leftover files.Immunize also is currently having problems on Vista and XP. On the plus side, users of Windows 95 now have an anti-spyware program.

Trying to make a current program backward compatible with Win95 (or any of the 9x stuff) makes about as much sense as attaching an oxen yoke to the front of a Porsche.
