gosh Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 that usually a scripting error. There's a microsoft article that tells you to change a registry key. Otherwise reinstall scripting by downloading scrun.exe i believe is the file name. You can get it off microsoft's website.-gosh
tal ormanda Posted August 2, 2007 Author Posted August 2, 2007 I am bad with scripts, if anyone can give me a place with directions that would really help.
Andromeda43 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I am bad with scripts, if anyone can give me a place with directions that would really help.System Restore not working is NOT a new problem.I've had a fix for that somewhere, but right now, I can't find it.So I googled the problem, "Fix System Restore". That should always be your first step to fixing any problem in windows. Anyway, there are over 3 million responses to that query.Try it.....I'm sure you'll find the answer you need.Have you tried running "SFC /scannow" ???That will repair any system files that have gotten messed up or deleted.good luck, B)
