side effects of magnets on lcd screens

basically, i'm making a webcam holder out of a magnet, i.e. i stick the magnet to the back of my webcan and i put the magnet near the top of my lcd screen, it does attract

what i want to know is if there are any side effects of doing this?

All electronics don´t like magnets close to it, so I woul look for an other way to attach it to your screen. There are things like dobble sided tape or use something like this:

Stuff works wonders for mounting things, I used it to stick a Palm Cradle to a desk.

Yes, but there is an actual brand called "Velcro". Other companies can make the same product, but they have to call it "hook and loop"...or at least something other than "Velcro".
