LordWarlock Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Multi-core/processor systems use ntkrnlmp.exe instead of ntoskrnl.exe
mr_sepia_tone Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Multi-core/processor systems use ntkrnlmp.exe instead of ntoskrnl.exeCan this be fixed then? Or does it just mean, anyone using a multi-core CPU system, can't have the new boot screen...Many thanks...
zedox Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 Darkside does patch ntkrnlmp, but obviously something is going wrong somewhere...Will look into this.
tap52384 Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Is it possible for someone to post the new logonui.exe?
underxp Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 XPize Darkside fail to patch a Windows XP SP2 Spanish source with error "Error decompresing data! Corrupted installer? ". I download the setup three times and fail all times. I apply XPize 4.7 lite Beta 2 to the same Windows source and not problem found.
tap52384 Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 I found that if you manually enter the location of the XP source and don't include the slash at the end that it will fail; if you choose the folder, then the problem should not occur.
underxp Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I don't enter manually the XP source path. Any ideas ?
zedox Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 underxpIf you don't patch your XP source then how are you getting an error message... "when patching your source" ???lol
underxp Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 OK. I apply HFSlip first to the XP Source with updates only. Can be this the problem ? Normal XPize don't have problem with it.
zedox Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 this won't be a problem bud...Are you running XPize Darkside on your source or on the actual installed machine?
underxp Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I'm running XPize Darkside in my actual XP install, select option "Create a XPIze Dark Side Windows ISO", point to the HFSlipped Windows Source and click "Next". The error is in the first file to process.
zedox Posted September 2, 2007 Author Posted September 2, 2007 Try just clicking next once and waiting...This sometimes happens if you press next twice. gl
kylerobhew1 Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 why isnt my xp welcome screen working after my uninstallation, and when i install my start menu is only windows classic
zedox Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 You havn't left me with much to go by there bud...When did this all happen?
