rickytheanuj Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 When ever i try to install program or games , few of that game or application can not be installed, it shows that installsheld engin (ikernel.exe) could not be launched. clidx Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 what i did is i extracted the archive, used the command "expand -r ikernel.ex_" and ikernel.exe came up in the same folder as the extracted files and copied ikernel.exe into windows\system32. now when that message appears, i quit the setup, click start>run>ikernel.exe>OK and then run the setup that gives the errorbut I haven't found a proper fix.
