  1. I'm running the trial version of Nod32... I haven't seen another AVS so perfect, and clean functioning... When the trial is over, I'll be purchasing Nod32... Now the really hard thing.. finding a firewall that really works to protect W98se and Seamonkey...
  2. Why not just forget about IE and OE.., They are leaky and risky, and the general targets of bully hacker attackers... Get the updated 6.. Leave them in the OS, because they are integral in operation of the Windows OS.. and block IE and OE with a good firewall, leaving them sealed-up in their little boxes... then load Seamonkey 1.1, which gives you much faster/safer/cleaner browser and email tools.. and the plus is that Seamonkey is crammed full of treasures and features that no other browser has...
  3. I downloaded a few nudie pix, to practise my photo-editing.. and when PP8 was loading my new pix file, it locked up, then crashed... Uninstalls and reinstalls didn't fix it... Reg cleaners, and Registry search & destroys didn't fix it... Seemed the only way to fix it was to format-C... I contacted PhotoPlus Tech Support... They suggested three good idea things to try, which didn't help... I finally repaired the damage done to PhotoPlus8... It was a sterrretch!.. Took about five-hours... Uninstalled PhotoPlus6 & 8... Run CM DiskCleaner's registry cleaner, search & destroy, using "select key search words", for everything serif and photoplus... Run "McAfee Uninstaller's PowerClean.. deleting everything "photoplus" and "serif"... Reboot... Install PP8 CD... (But now the picture files wouldn't load in PP8's window... Seemed the PC was trying to load the pix-file from floppy, even without me commanding it to search A... Maybe that's the area in where the goonies did there dirty-work to damage PP8's functionality..? Probably was a little bit damage to both the Windows system & PP8).. Reinstalled PP8 over the first install, in hopes it would repair the program... Reboot... It did.. Now PP8 works... but a little slow..? Maybe the OS just needs a scandisking & defragging... I hope I didn't damage the OS by stripping out so much of it... For this install I had Uninstaller monitor the install, making snapshots of the registry, before and after the install.. just in case... _______________________ I sent a complaint post to the website that damaged my PC... They replied, they did nothing wrong, and that I was "stealing free samples"...
  4. Thanks Nic... it's like I just pulled a thorn out of me foot... oh sigh... I was so wedged in the bushes that I just couldn't see the trees fer the forest... Too bad there isn't a red and white squibs, in place of that silly tree leaf... Is there a chance you are blood related to the ancient Pirate bloodlines?..
  5. I'm born Canadian.. I very much love this country, from coast to coast, but I am not proud of this nation's politics... The Canadian government, at every level, treats our people like dead-squid, at best... I would prefer to not have that goofy red and white maple leaf flag illustrated with my name.. Maple trees are for shade and syrup, not to be used as people tags... It's like "wearing ones poop as jewelry"... How do I eliminate that offensive irritating flag from showing with my posts?..
  6. Re: "Ripping out IE"... I tried that a couple times.. and quickly discovered that it seriously messed up the system so bad that I had to format-C... I tried the "IE & OE Removers", and still it wrecked the operating system, forcing me to format-C... It seems that IE & OE are integral parts of the 98 operating system.. or, parts of IE & OE are integral parts of the 98 OS... What parts?.. Are those parts replaceable, without installing IE & OE?.. Is there a safe methodical way to rip out IE, without the rip-out taking-out crucial operating system components?..
  7. Running W98se, Compaq desktop, 600mghtz, 6gig... Is there a simple core way to destroy and/or neutralize all the auto-updaters in W98se? by taking out a bit of the OS.. yet still permit manual updating, of the AVS, firewall, and various peripheral softwares..? Reason: I find when I'm on a roll in creative writing or pix editing.. when an auto-updater initiates, it momentarily sucks up all the RAM.. thereby momentarily locking-out the mouse and keyboard.. which can too easily crash a fragile creative roll... I am experiencing problems with various AVS's.. in that, no matter what I do to try to shut down their auto updaters, they continue to attempt their firewall-blocked connections, momentarily sucking up all the RAM every five minutes... It's like it isn't my PC anymore... I had to dump the AVS just to get a little peace from the updaters... The AVS companies all advise to disable their updaters, in their scheduler and/or advanced windows... I do that, and still the updaters try to connect every five minutes... I even tried stripping out registry keys, and uninstalling updaters and schedulers, to no avail... The last bit of expert advice, I tried, was to try AVG's latest build.. so yesterday I did.. and it locked-up reboot, as it has the last ten-times I tried AVG over a five year time-period... I had to go into safe-mode to uninstall AVG, just to get the PC working again.. and in some previous attempts, I had to format-C to get my computer back... Seems this trying to make W98se secure, is like trying to fly by flapping your arms real fast... Please Advise... What's a best or suitable AVS for Seamonkey in W98se.. and has anybody actually left the ground by flapping real hard?..
  8. Oops!.. sorry... I will... In topic W98se updates.. It seems that a few of the folks who worked on building the original W98's are still evolving their baby... Maybe a few die hards who just can't let their Precious fade into oblivion..? Does anybody have links to their project websites?.. namely for their latest experimental registry updates... Who is it who is built this "W98se unofficial updater"?.. and what is the link to their latest ongoing breakthroughs?..
  9. In topic "W98se updaters"... I am running W98se, Compaq desktop, 600mghtz, 6gig... Is there a simple core way to DESTROY all the updaters in 98se?.. yet still permit manual updating?.. Reason: I find when I'm on a roll in creative writing or pix editing.. when an auto updater initiates, it momentarily sucks up all the RAM.. thereby momentarily locking out the mouse and keyboard.. which can too easily crash a creative roll... Please Advise...
  10. Download F-Prot trial... If your PC caught natas, you'll need to format C...
  11. Sometimes having troubles in accessing websites and forums, is a logjam of old browser cache and cookies... If you are running an after-market browser, it might be time to clean out the old configurations if you've been updating the thing a lot... Save your favorites in a word file, uninstall the browser, run a search and destroy, in Find and Regedit for everything related to that browser, reboot, and install the new download... While you're at it run regedit to destroy: macromedia, backweb, desktopmessenger, showbehind, and shockwave.. then run all the features in Power Defragger... The surface scan is crucial, given that even new hard drives can develop bad clusters... Check-out Seamonkey 1.1.. It has a spell checker at work as you compose on the Net...
  12. Install Spybot, then do a regedit search for one of the spyware names you know... It will get you into the HUGE list of trojans that Spybot blocks... Write to those who write Spybot... They have been very helpful to me.. and they are easy to talk to...
  13. To catch a pile of trojans, surf "sword cursor", and install the softwares... There's one that gives your PC 80 malwares... As for a way to beat spywares, I think you need to write a software that acts as an "antibody" by removing and/or adding stuff to the trojan on it's way in, to make it a benign trojan... Maybe there should be an indicator on all emails, telling how many bytes are in the email.. From what I understand, most bugs are approximately 32kb.. while most emails are about 10kb... Maybe recognized trojans can be instantly shunted into a dump before they take hold..? We shouldn't have to fear the sites that pump out trojans.. we should have the options to deal with what sets in our private PC's... The one I like, is I open suspect emails in my iMac... When an email has a bug, I get a pop up saying, "the system doesn't know what to do with this program"... Most bugs are created on PC... The other one I like is Tiny Personal Firewall... It detects everything trying to connect to the Net, and will pop up a warning.. and just in case TPF also wants to connect to the Net, I block it too.. and just leave the little bugger working as an inside firewall...
  14. Ok.. so you're not into killer viruses yet... I'll save it in a file.. and if you ever want to play with the worstest meanest SOB GD PC killer bug, the offer remains dormant... You might want to check it out the next time you decide to format your crap computer, just to get a feel for how mean natas is... Your disease awaits sir, or madame...
  15. You ain't delt with an Internet bug till your PC has caught natas... it destroys the OS faster than you can say "oops"... I've got an unopened email: "eBay.. Unpaid Item Dispute #130929582620", in my Yahoo email account, that most likely has natas in it... This is the same MO that injected natas into my PC a couple months ago.. from some christian defender little nutcase momma's boy... Thing is, I haven't bid on anything in eBay... Now I only open these suspect emails in one of my junk computers, and forward them to <spoof@ebay.com>... then I format-C, drop in the Windows CD, and click the mouse... That's about all you can do with natas... I would change my password temporarily, to a password of your choosing... If you want to open this email to have some fun with natas, PM me at <extremesciences@yahoo.com>...
  16. "running more than one firewall" Yeah.. I've heard a load of stuff about running only one firewall, which comes from other firewall writers mostly.. and most firewalls can't deal with any company.. but Tiny Personal Firewall doesn't bother any of the other firewalls... It just sits in the back doing its thing... I install TPF from floppy, immediately after installing a new OS.. and I set it to block everything, even itself... This way nothing can contact the Net unless I give it permission... It saves a lot of grief... After I install a new software, I go to TPF's advanced, and block it from connecting to the Net... When I uninstall an unwanted software I immediately run Find and Regedit, to destroy everything left behind from that software... NetVeda may have issues for some, but not in my PC... My previous post would have your PC running at peak... Most of the troubles in old operating systems, these days, is caused by macromedia, shockwave, and the auto updater features in aftermarket software wasting computer time forever scanning the system for changes... They are just bugs... Solution is to cancel and/or destroy all those updating features, and do your updating yourself... Surf "W98se shutdown problems"... That's mostly caused by macromedia softwares in old OS's... And most of the computers today are still running W98... Macromedia is just too powerful for the old systems... and macromedia is just a fancy advertising scheme, for animated advertising barages in your face, with a few interesting come ons... Thanks for the "Comodo" tip... I'll check it out...
  17. I've been through all that mess way too many times... I've tried all the firewalls and AVS's... None of them really worked against all the internet-crap that's out there... A couple months ago I was plagued by some bullyAH shutting down Norton AVS and BlackIce FW, and making nasty irreparable messes in my PC.. so I snapped the Norton CD in-two, and dumped those two useless softwares... I stumbled upon FP-Win AVS, and NetVeda Firewall.. and haven't had any bugs in this PC since I installed the two... If something is slowing your PC after installing, it's likely that it installed a bunch of trojans... Run Regedit for the name of that software, and the name of the company... Always run a search & destroy, Find and Regedit, for those two items after dumping a software... Go into the prefs of every one of your softwares, and stop all the auto-updaters... It's a lot safer to do your updating manually... I update SeaMonkey browser by setting the PC to download the newest version, when I'm about to leave the computer for a time... When I return, I uninstall it, and install the fresh one... takes just a few minutes... If you are experiencing glitches with your after market browser.. Download a fresh copy.. then save all your favorites and bookmarks, and everythings, in word files.. then uninstall the browser, and run a search and destroy for that software, to clean out old configurations.. then install the fresh download... Go into Scheduler, and kill everything in there... Run FP-Win demo... Be sure you ran through all the settings first... Run CMDiskCleaner and EasyCleaner... Get 'em at MajorGeeks.. They try to guarantee clean downloads, by banning softwares that contain malwares... MajorGeeks are the goodguys... There's a lot of good stuff in their downloads lists... You could be there for hours... Put a pillow on your chair to prevent the dreaded "computer-bum" syndrome... First off, download: SubDesktop, WinWall, Irfanview, Tiny Personal Firewall (to be an indoor watchdog. block itself too), Check out R-Undelete (only if you have a partitioned C & D drive. Install it in D)... Do a search and destroy in Find and Regedit, for: macromedia, backweb, showbehind, shockwave, and desktopmessenger... then defrag with PowerDefrag (Run all options first time)... Now how fast and sweet is your "born-again" PC running..? Get SeaMonkey.. and check-out the Tools tab, and the Window tab, and the little blue double-handled "toilet plunger" icon, in the lower right of the screen...
  18. Sometimes those goofy glitches are based upon a virus-like trojan in the system... not just in the area you notice the problem, but infiltrating and infecting much of the system... To just treat the open symptom, will drive you angry and crazy... ______________ Recently I discovered this scenario was causing me all the grief... Think about it, and figure how much of it fits your troubles... I believe, with this, I'm proving that we need to establish a clean registry, in combination with reasonable caution and cleanliness, and good: spyware scanner/blocker, firewall, and avs... and all the security patches available... I'm Running W98se in a Compac desktop with an HP 3 in 1... When I first loaded the new hp 3 in 1's CD, and switched on the copier while the computer was running, the computer crashed for each one of three fresh OS and hp reloads... I did an intensive six-hour search and destroy, from the battery, to the outer ends of the OS.. through peripheral software atmosphere... till I found all the findable bugs living in my machine... The ones I couldn't find, hidden in locked files, I boxed with "Tiny Personal Firewall", by setting TPF to block all connections, with "pop up "and blocked TPF as well... It wasn't enough... Even after the forth fresh OS install, the thing still had bugs.. and when I switched on the copier, the PC would crash... Turns out, an enemy close relative, whom I didn't know was an enemy, presented me with a free boot floppy, which had a scaled down version of natas in it.. a version which all the AVS scanners couldn't detect.. until when I was erasing the boot floppy, as part of my search & destroy project, I stopped erasing the floppy a few seconds into it.. to do it later.. so to get on the Net now... When I got back to the floppy, I recalled how the AVS scan of that floppy seemed to hangup for a few seconds... so just fer the H of it, I clicked scan again.. and the AVS finds natas in this boot-floppy, evil "gift"... I look forward to meeting him in the forest one day, alone, and begging for his life... He's lucky he moved across the continent.. and even luckier that there are laws... __________ I cured the bugs problem, by getting a clean boot disk from the computer shop, and by formatting-C a couple times.. opening the case.. pull, or switch-off the battery.. [there should be a tiny instruction manual stuck to the battery, given that it's a user device]... In the case, I cleaned out the dust with a natural brush and compressed air... Checked all the connectors... Tied wires up off the board... Re-installed the battery... Started with fdisk, *twice... Loaded W98... Then loaded the floppy of "Tiny Personal Firewall".. set to block everything... Place a pillow on your chair, so you won't get "computer bum"... This will take hours.... Install & Run: "BlackIce" updates "Cacheman" memory cleaner.. "CCleaner" "CM DiskCleaner" "EasyCleaner" "Spybot S&D" "FP Win" on demand scanner "Spyware Blaster" "PowerDefrag" all options Create three fresh registry backups, placed in a desktop corner with "Eraser", as a just in case you need to restore from a bad bug hit... Caution!.. Eraser is an extremely powerful emergency-tool.. not a toy... Used wrongly, it can destroy your OS faster'n you can say "oops"... but sometimes it can kill a bug that has killed your OS... I'm guessing it was built in a straight Window OS atmosphere, without any peripheral softwares installed... _____________________ Now the hp copier doesn't crash the PC... ___________________ But I did a super silly oops... I folded that buggy floppy with a vengeance!, and trashed it.. when I should have mailed it to an AVS software designer... "oops"... What has me puzzled..? is what did the partial formatting of the floppy do, to make the invisible natas-bug visible?... __________________ Thing is.. Are you absolutely possitive that your machine is totally clean from bugs?.. Have you done an FP-Win scan, and SpywareBlaster scan, on your OS CD, and the boot floppy..? Each OS install should be done with a new fresh boot disk.. made from a fresh clean install... Make three of them.. and store them far away from heat, wires, and magnets... ___________________ Be careful with Registry Mechanic... It removes parts of the OS that shouldn't be removed.. and can cause several nasty glitches... A super good tool, but know what it is you are deleting... Or.. like the others say.. It might just be a single setting... It's your choice...
  19. Off the cuff, I think you need to do a Regedit & Find, Search & Destroy, for the "5-poops" in your machine... I've had all kinds of troubles that I managed to solve, but I've never heard of yours... If I had that problem in my PC, I would do the manual S&D's.. uninstalls first, then a manual regedit S&D for the 5-poops: "desktopmessenger, macromedia, backweb, shockwave, and showbehind".. flush them out of the system.. they're just parasitic advertising crap... Then I'd run the same S&D for all the softwares I recently uninstalled... Then download FP Win, and run a full scan... *Be sure to fully check out all the options... Then run: CM DiskCleaner, EasyCleaner, Spybot, Registry Mechanic, and PowerDefrag... Run all of PowerDefrag's features.. and immediately replace my three registry backups with PowerDefrag, RegMech, and a Regedit export to the desktop...
  20. I tried them all... Now I'm using Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster, BlackIce, CM DiskCleaner, EasyCleaner, Power Defrag, Reg Mechanic, and FP Win... and Eraser, is on the desktop as a last resort... Extreme Caution with Eraser!.. It's a POWERFUL tool, not a toy, it can kill your OS faster than you can say "oops"... Use it as a last resort, for when your PC has been hit by a bug you can't clean out, nor recover from... I just dumped Norton AVS, and snapped the CD in half, after I found it's protect feature shutdown by some outside force, for the third time.. I've had ENOUGH of that garbage!.. Strike three, Yer OUT! This "FP Win" seems to actually work like it says on the label.. and it found two nasty little bugs that all the others didn't.. plus it's fast and easy for scanning floppies... I'm almost ready to purchase the CD... Finally an AVS that really works... _________________ P.S.: When I click on "Add Reply" in this forum.. I get "You do not have permission to post in this forum"... Maybe I was bad in another life?.. I get in with "Quote" only...
  21. W98se, 600mghtz, 128R, 6 gig, F-Protect, BlackIce, Unofficial updater, DX9... _____________ I have this floppy, which has a "Starwars a modern paradigm" 34kb EML file, that I can't read, can't bring up properties, can't move, can't delete, can't do Anything with..??? Attempts to open it, or view properties, locks up the PC... F-Protect (fp win) locks-up in a few seconds when scanning the floppy for bugs... Various deleter-softwares pop-up failure warnings... Seems nothing can get into this little beastie... After messing with it for an hour, and seven reboots, I one-time forgot the floppy in A drive on the seventh reboot, and when the PC started to boot, up came a message, in colors, "Starting unOS" the "u" in "unOS" has a little tail on it, like a backward "y".. and the PC stopped loading there... I removed all other files from the floppy, and still can't do anything with that 34Kb file, which is the appropriate size for a classic bug-file I think... I'm guessing that maybe F-Protect is blocking it from installing a bug.. but no pop-up warnings happen... The PC's OS seems to be undamaged by my attempts to open the thing.. but I'll run a few serious checks... Any suggestions on what I should run.. and what to look for in a manual search & destroy?.. I'm wondrin' if this is the file that's been messing up this PC's OS for several months..? What should I do with this floppy?.. Who be the best person on the planet for to snailmail this frustrating, foolproof, frozen-file, "f'n" floppy to?.. Before I mail it to someone, how do I erase all traces of my private files from this floppy, so the experts Can't read my deleted private files?.. I'm bets some computer wizard is gonna have some fun, with this little monster... Please advise...
  22. What is the process of fragmentation?.. Is there a way to force the OS to put things back where it found them when it's finished with them?.. or is the problem that the OS is forever messing upon itself, like a critter with distemper..? In other words, Is the PC OS not yet "potty trained".. or is it like a critter born without rectal muscles.. as in poorly developed?.. http://www.theabsolute.net/sware/dskinv.html http://www.diskcleaners.com/clndisk.html http://www.filesland.com/companies/CM-Data...6-download.html How does the OS build a cluster?.. How does the OS know the front end of a cluster from the back end of a cluster?.. Why are clusters needed?.. What size should a cluster be to be optimum?.. How small can a cluster be?.. How large can a cluster be?.. Is a cluster just a memory dump, and storage tank?.. If the OS didn't have clusters, would it still function?.. What are all those dots in a cluster?.. Can I put a smilie in a cluster?.. Can you modify a cluster?.. Is there an OS that doesn't have clusters?.. Who invented the cluster?.. What were his initial thoughts for his reasoning in inventing and developing the cluster?.. What is happening in the evolution of the cluster?.. If the OS had a better line to a cluster, would that prevent fragmentation?.. If defragmentation was incorporated with the running process, would that prevent fragmentation?..
  23. Quoting: "it has been proven that excessive defragmenting can and will cause issues with your hard drive." Hey.. You'll trash the computer long before you'll ever wear out a hard drive from use... That's parallel to like not washing your skin, cuz it makes skin-cells wash off... The only issue it can cause, is if the HD is comfortable with how it has filed its systems, and you run defrag's feature to sort programs to run better... uncheck the sort box... Like in Mac, it's said you shouldn't defrag a Mac just for that reason... but Windows is whole different species from Apple... _________________ Thanks for the tip Spacesurfer... I'm gonna check that one out... _________________
  24. I defrag daily... It keeps this old PC running at peak... After installing modern softwares to this W98se system, I found that defrag wouldn't work until I shut down my AVS and Firewall, and even then it was iffy... I was forced to run the gamut of after market defraggers: "Fast Defrag2", "Diskeeper", "Power Defrag"... I stopped at Power Defrag.. Finally something that actually works without slowing and loading the OS, and filling it with active trojans... Fast Defrag came with a real ugly downloads manager, which I really didn't want in my PC, and it was quite difficult to eliminate from the OS... It hung-on tight to its new home, like trying to pry a river leach off your leg... Thht on Defrag2... I tried Diskeeper 10, and while I was making changes in the system, I somehow triggered DK10 to rewrite its user registration... I backtracked, and found the reason, and wrote to Exec software, claiming I stumbled into a vulnerable crack for their software, and would trade the data for a freebie CD of DK10... Next day my PC was extremely hard-hit by a powerful hack-attack.. The screen flashed bright, nearly crashed, and DK suddenly came up in the screen, and my browser crashed, then DK crashed, and was totally inoperative, then the PC locked up.. After two hours of fruitless maintainance, I was forced to format-C to repair the damages... Thht on Diskeeper!!! gol-dern bully monsters! I tried Power Defrag.. Hot Dam! it works like a Charm.. and it has even rescued this PC from hack attacks... Yay Power Defragger... I gotta buy the CD... I keep "Eraser" on the desktop, just in case of a serious hack attack, which is forcing me to format... Sometimes Eraser can rescue the PC as a last resort.. And sometimes, with improper use, or over use, Eraser can destroy the OS faster than you can say "oops"... I'd compare Eraser to a half-stick of dynamite, with an attitude... Set its free space cleaner to just one pass.. or learn how to swear and scream very loud... Thing is.. If you don't defrag, your PC will run slower and slower with use... And if you are running W98se, and having a barrage of problems.. Run your registry cleaner, CCleaner, Cacheman Memory Restore, Spybot, and do a Find and a Regedit, search and destroy, for "shockwave", "macromedia", and "backweb"... then run all the features in Power Defrag... Now how much FASTER is your PC running..? This "super cleanup" will probably take you two to three hours... Well worth the effort.. to make it a "born again PC"... .
  25. Re: "New ideas to add to your project"... "Dear Santa".. I want a software that will make a copy of the registry, before and after a virus attack.. to show me the changes made, so I can delete the registry entries the bug added... And that gets me the IP of the one who sent me the bug, so I can send it back to him, with the sounds of a loud fart, a horrid cold splash, and a toilet flushing... I would like a system that asks me for every added registry entry, so I can compare them to a bad registry keys list after an attack, and to have the option of deleting it before it gets into the registry... I would like a plug-in that allows me to prepare sub-headers, under a dingbat, to be added between words in a thesis.. for to add pix, links, and descriptions, to the statements, in that link... I would like a firewall and AVS scanner that actually work with SeaMonkey... I wish SeaMonkey would build a fire wall/AVS/anti-trojan into SeaMonkey... *I would really like to eliminate that horrid Window's shut-down splash screen.. and **have the option of changing the two Windows splash screens to pix of my choosing... I would really like to eliminate the computer's bright-white startup splash... I have many pieces of glass in the backs of my eyes, from a nasty lab explosion, and that startup splash is blinding for me at night.. and super irritates my developing night vision... I would like to be able to dim my flatscreen by 30% more... It's already set as dim as it goes now... I suppose I need a filter on it... Are there such filters? a pink ambrosia screen would be nice... Sometimes "Tiny Personal Firewall" pops up a warning on something I don't recognize: "Do you want to allow your computer to send a packet to IP X?".. I would like the ability to open that packet, and modify it, then let it go to whomever is snooping on my machine.. to send them a short video clip of my favorite full-moon in action... I would like to etablish a "My Documents" file of vindictive-stuff I want snoops to get.. and somehow block my true Documents from them getting at that... Most of the modern registry cleaners will delete key and bits of the OS that the OS needs to function.. One must check those suppos-ed found "bad keys" carefully... It would be nice to have something that pops up a warning that something shouldn't be deleted... A built-in front-end boot virus-scanner/natas blocker & dump would be nice... *I really want to change that boring goofy arrow cursor to a tiny metallic red sword, that spins when desktop is active... And I'd like to be able to left click change the cursor to a clawed tiger's paw, or other objects, at will.. I would like a software that acts as a antibody to an incoming e-virus... I would like a border all around a window, that when clicked, shuts-down the window... I would like a software that blocks-out those smilies beside the composer page, while I'm composing in forum forms... Those smilies break my train of thought when on a roll.. Thank goodness SeaMonkey has a stop-animation feature... I would like something that tells me what parts of the OS are missing, at the click of the mouse... I would like to be able to place buttons of my choosing on the desktop... I.E.: SeaMonkey Compose, SeaMonkey Cookies Mgr, and Auto-sign into Yahoo, restore registry... I would like a software icon on the desktop, that when clicked will totally uninstall and delete the software whose icon I've placed into a tiny empty desktop box shaped like a green trashbag.. as in "taking out the trash"... I would like to be able to load a new install into both partitions simultaneously... I would like the 6 winning number for the next 649 lotto... (from #'s 1 to 49)... ..And a black Corvette, with wire wheels.. And a water cooled PC, with the latest Apple/Windows combo OS, and six flat-screen monitors... There's more.. but I'll wait till you drop down the chimney for beer and cookies and ladies...
