That to me still doesn't make sense though since it stated that the error was specifically with lsass.exe. I would figure that if the problem was with one of the other files, it would have stated that file as having the error. The majority of those files I remove have been removed in other installs and it always worked fine. There are only maybe one or two that are being removed for the first time. Time for a witch hunt I guess.

I can install from the original disc, I could always install from a nLited disc before so it isn't the program or anything on my computer. The only thing I can think of is maybe a file that I have set to remove by nLite, but like all but 2 or 3 I have removed and was still able to install without this error. Although I don't see how a file would could this problem since it specifically names lsass.exe as having an error and or not being able to execute. If it was another file's fault, I would figure it would mention that file instead. This is really getting annoying. How is it that all of a sudden it just gives me an error, but only using an nLited disc? Still doesn't make any sense since it has never happened before.

I tried to install my nLited XP SP2 disc, but I keep getting an error upon boot right after it's done copying files. I get an application error for LSASS.EXE. It then causes my system to just keep rebooting over and over again. This error has never happened before. I even re-transfered the XP SP2 files from the original again and created another disc and yet this error happened again. Anybody know how to solve this? It installs fine with my normal disc and I can run my Bart's PE disc without fail, but the nLited install fails.

I have a tested 95mb disc that works perfectly. It will run and do everything I need it to do. Then I have an untested 85mb disc that I have to wait until I'm done with night classes at college to test out. I use nLite to strip everything I don't need out and then use Bold_Fortune's guide to get ride of more stuff.

I like MediaCoder, but it's like I have no control. Examples: If I put a file size limit the output video comes no where close. I tried to encode a .vob to a .avi (H.264) that was 350mb, but the outcome came only to around 30-40mb. I could understand if the output was maybe +/-10mb, but 60-70? If I put it to encode in bit-rate mode, I select the bit-rate I want and then encode. Once again I get nothing even close to what I put in. I put a video in and set the bit-rate at 3300. What do I get for the output file? Around 300-400. I could understand a couple hundred off, but 2000+ off? Seriously, what the heck?

Does anybody happen to know what files Color Management removes when you select it in nLite 1.4 Beta?

CCleaner requires msvbvm60.dll (from Visual Basic 6 Runtime) in-order to run

I keep getting an error whenever I try using the self-extracting nLite 1.4 Beta, but never when using the installer. I extracted to a folder and then installed the FrameworkLite 2.0 R3 to that folder. Whenever I try to run nLite.exe I get an error that reads, "A fatal error occurred. However, mscorees.dll could not be loaded to display the appropriate error message."

I have one file that I want to add to my XP install, but I don't know where to place it or if it will work. The file is a .dll so it would need to be placed in the System32 folder. Do I just click the "add additional files" or whatever button and then drag and drop it? I pretty sure this next thing isn't possible at all, but it's worth a try. All my programs are portable so I don't have to install them. I back them up on another partition on my HDD and would like to know if there's any way of having nLite copy them from their directory to the Program Files folder.

Just did an install after using nLite 1.4 Beta and I have two problems 1) All the programs no longer have their icons. It's just the generic program icon now. 2) CCleaner will no longer load. Is there something I'm doing wrong when using the self-extracting installer of 1.3 Final? I extracted it to a folder on my desktop and then installed the Runtime files to that folder, but nLite still won't run. Is it dependent on a certain service or something?

What would happen if I disabled Plug and Play? I know I can't access the Device Manager, but what else happens if disabled? Monitor won't work? Printer won't work? Anybody with any experience on this?

Would it be possible for me to basically remove everything that is selectable in nLite, then when selecting what files I want to keep, just keep the ones that are absolutely necessary for my install, programs, etc.?

How do I slipstream this into nLite? All the files I've tried to interrgrate into nLite have always been in EXE or CAB, never 7z. Do I just do the same thing and select the 7z file in the hotfixes section?

Since I got rid of MediaMonkey for Foobar2000, I'm doing a new install that will get rid of Jet Database Engine & MDAC. Only problem is, I don't know if either of them is needed to run OOo Base. I assume Jet Database isn't, but not sure about MDAC since it deals with databases which is what OOo Base is used for (similar to MS Access I believe) Would anyone know if OOo Base needs these components to run?

Is there a way to tell if you are using 16-bit programs? Just because it's a 16-bit program, does that mean if you remove support, you can't install it?

I'll just add it back in when the next nLite version comes out

I kept ODBCCP32.DLL and removed Jet Database Engine. Now MediaMonkey won't get past the logo on startup. Does anybody know the files needed from Jet Database Engine to run MediaMonkey?
