  1. What OS are you using? Not all Server OS have the ability to add that role. For example, one of mine is Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1 x64, the role you are looking for is an available choice as Remote Desktop Services.
  2. If you choose yes to activate, does it give you the option to do it by telephone? It involves you reading a bunch of numbers over the phone to a recording that may or may not be able to understand you, but you might get to talk to a person if that is the case. They can get you the activation numbers to type in.
  3. Or the walrus?
  4. It looks like all the "locked" characters shown on the characters page all have a number associated with them, and you can just type the squad.png to get theirs. But if you look at those numbers, you can see that they do not go 1-100. It goes something like 1-9, 110-119, etc. Go to the characters page in Firefox and look at the Media tab of the Page Info window, you can see these numbers. Otherwise, there isn't going to be any (legal) programs that are going to find images that aren't linked off an existing page already. You should make a post in their forum maybe?
  5. MSDN has the answers! Proxy Stub
  6. What is the status of the following services: - Remote Procedure Call (RPC) - DCOM Server Process Launcher - RPC Endpoint Mapper - Windows Management Instrumentation
  7. Where are these programs being installed from?
  8. Why did you install the AIK into a non-standard location? Since it is not in Program Files, either install it on C or you'll need to create an environment variable so Make_PE3 knows where the files are.
  9. I had an HTA launch with the winpeshl.ini but needed the ability to access the cmd for troubleshooting reasons. In order to stop end-users from just being able to open the prompt and do whatever they want, it would prompt for a password in order to continue. This was documented here:
  10. You should use the version of Sysprep kept in the deploy.cab on the XP install media. XP sysprep is version dependent, which is probably why Microsoft decided to include sysprep in their OSes starting with Vista.
  11. It isn't required to be run. I'm sure there was just something else involved that happened you aren't aware of. I have set up networks with XP clients before and I've never used that Wizard before.
  12. I'm not sure what IDM is (Internet Download Manager? ) but have you tried to run it as Administrator? Also can you install other programs?
  13. Heh, I remember one Major Manufacturer of CD's that installed a rootkit. Go figger.**cough** Sony **cough**
  14. winpeshl.ini does work. However if your shell program has the ability to launch a command prompt, I do not know how to hide it. I've only written custom shells that have the ability to launch a password protected command prompt.
  15. For version control (including use of spreadsheet) I only inject 1 driver at a time. I may batch up the injection tho, but I never inject all drivers in a release, only the ones I know I need.
  16. If using dos, likely need batch. Move to correct forum.
  17. Did I make you do the bold thing on the band name? I've been doing it that way for years! SEAT BELTS - Piano Black
  18. This isn't so much a Windows 7 question, rather a business question. Since we don't have a place for that, it shall be in general. But to be honest, no one can know if your message is correct (unless you want to know about grammar) without knowing your network...
  19. i'm fully patched up, going surf around to see if my computer can lock up.

  20. 1. The only time I have seen two entries show up, its because there was an OS on the driver before and an image was applied overtop. For example, first boot after WinRE is run will do this, but the other option goes away after sysprep has run the first time. Are you doing multiple partition installs? I have noticed that the multiple partition option does not always assign the appropriate drive letters. 2. Unfortunately no. You can add an answer file directly into the image. All my images that use answer files have them in the image already.
  21. You can't add a folder into the image with DISM like that. If you want to add a driver, you need to specify the driver file. If you do not know the INF name, use *.inf instead.
  22. Put your commands in winpeshl.ini instead. Then the command prompt won't be displayed.
  23. It may also be possible to ghost the image onto the drive, then boot of an XP CD to do a repair install which would fix the Mass Storage Controller driver and potentially HAL problem. In the Safe Mode boot, it is not stuck on MUP.SYS. You need to do a step-by-step configuration boot to determine what it tries to load after MUP.SYS. In my experience, Windows generally wants to start loading drivers at that point.
