Is it possible to repurpose an old computer as a firewall+antivirus, scanning everything before it gets into my network?

I own every version of windows ever made except nt, how can I make a multiboot cd, so that I can install 95,98lite,me,2000pro,xppro, xphome, mce, and so on?

I was wondering if it was possible to make a dvd that will boot into mce, fully configured with all of my settings and drivers installed, so that if I take the dvd out and reboot, im back inmy normal install, but if I put it in, it boots mce, preconfigured

I have my desktop with two monitors, but I am running out of screen space, so is it possible to network it with my laptop and use my laptop as a third monitor? Also, is it possible to remotly control computers in my network from my main one? Thanks

well I tried the drivers I got online but it doesnt work with mce, mce does not recognize it, but the software has it working fine

I have two wireless routers, one is connected to all comps in my house but one, and the other is connected to the other computer, how can I make the second router act as a bridge, and give the other comp access to my main network? I want them to connect wirelessly by the way

Also where cases are concerned I like more than 2 external 5.25 drive bays, one external 3.5, and I chose the cases because they looked biggish and I like either A.Understated efficiency or B.A cool looking case

ok, here is my setup, I am looking for a new case that will be almost silent along with a great performing quiet cooler for my cpu, not water cooling asus p5gd1 intel915chipset with onboard hd 5.1 audio intel p4 520 2.8ghz with ht stock cooler one fan that auto changes it's speed based on temperature 1gig of dual channel ram, in copper ramsinks thermaltake 430watt psu dvd burner, not sure what make, just know the speeds, ask and Ill list them 120gig 3.5inch hdd in a 5.25inch enclosure. ati radeon x800pro 256 pcie I also have two cdrw drives that I would use if my case had enough space, although it isn't necesary

I have an asus p5gd1 with onboard hd audio 5.1 I think, would adding a 2.1 sound card help take the load off of my cpu? Or is the onboard a more powerful, dedicated chip?

on that card I used to get 400core, 350mem

I was able to get 590/520, at 520mem it crashes, 599core it crashes,I will do a 3dmark test soon
