ok, I have a really weird setup that i need help with, I have 3 media center pcs, an xbox 360, a wireless connector, and two routers, both wireless My main mce comp is where I store files, plain and simple, it streams to the others, and to my other comps which I use as extenders, one of the mce comps has a wintv card in it, it is the pci 878 model, if you google wintv, click support, click pci boards, and click 878 model or something like that you will find it, that mce comp is attached to a wireless router, which is attached to my wireless g network, my server, cable modem, and non-mce comp, then the third mce comp is connected to my 360, and uses the 360 as an extender, so here is the problem, the tv tuner comp keeps saying there is no tuner when in tv settings, the third mce comp is needed elsewhere by my parents, they dont like the noise, so can I hook up my wireless b router to the 360 as a connector, and not as a wireless extender? If so how? Finally, how do I stream live tv from my tuner to other comps? Sorry if this is asking a lot

I am trying to install windows media center edition from my 9in1 cd, it keeps on giving me a cd access error after reboot, what can I do?

I have a wireless b router, and a g router, the g is hooked into one comp, and the modem, how can I hook the other one into a computer and have it just give that machine network access?

can the 360 use a keyboard and mouse? or some other type of control?

is there a way to either stream video to a 360, or put it on an external hdd, like an ipod, and connect it to the 360 to be played?

my monitors dont have a vga in, they only have a non-detachable cable that goes to the comp, I am getting the vga kit, will I need an adapter? if so, what type?

it is over 50ft, and I do not want to get those long cables for two monitors, speakers, keyboard, and mouse, it is just too much, and I do not want to have to pay someone to string the cables

ok, my comp is in my room, the hottest one in my house, is there a way to move it into my basement, which is about 10-15degrees cooler, yet still have the io in my room, I have spare laptops if they are needed, and lots of cables, just cant string cables into my room

ok, I am installing linux, and was wondering if I could have some help finding the right distro, here are my machine specs 1gig of ram ati radeon x800pro 256 linksys wusb54g version 2.0 floppy drive 120gig 7200rpm hdd intel p4 520 2.8ghz with ht built in sound and ethernet on an asus p5gd1 here is what I wish to do on it, and some specs I want it to adhere to I will be using it to play multimedia files, ie pictures, videos, music in a variety of formats I will be programming c++ on it(this is lee essential though) internet browsing with mozilla connect to my network, it is wireless and has all windows comps on it word processing in all formats, including ms formats the ability to run many programs such as xbc that were built for windows(this is less essential) most importantly, the ability to play my favorite games, which are 1.Far cry 2.Unreal 03 3this isnt as important but rise of nations finally, I would like to be able to run programs on other comps running the same distro, and have the programs show up on my screen

well, is it possible to boot off of a usb drive into linux?

yes, that is why I said that it is not what you think, I want to boot into linux on my pc from my ipod
