well here is the setup, the mouse is needed on a slanted suface about 3 feet higher than I can put the reciever, then there are about 6 feet between the mouse and the reciever, it seems very directional though, point the reciever a degree higher and it works, a degree lower and it doesnt, but any suggestions that do not involve modding my mouse are welcome, thanks

what do you mean it does not process video? Doesnt that defeat the purpose of it?

I need the mce funcionality though, that interface is very important as some of the people who will use this system are not computer literate past the use of a mouse

I have a wireless mouse on one of my mce machines, I was wondering if the range can be extended to 6 feet, it is a mini wireless mouse, and it is as close as possible to the connector, which is blocked by nothing

ok, I just had one more addition, while I would like it to work with mce, if it can work with another program that can stream to my extenders that is good too.

thanks, the exact plugins I am looking for are.... dx9 windows media player 10 some way to integrate drivers and settings(this includes network settings some way to integrate standby and other powermanagment some way to change they gui to look just like a normal xp install finally, I need to integrate the mce components and certain codecs thanks, and sorry if this is asking too much

let me clarify, I was in a rush when typing that post, the drivers are installed, but mce doesw not recognize the tv tuner, the software allows me to watch tv, but I need mce to recognize it in order to use it with my extender.

also, is it possible to make it fit on a cd?

ok, I just had another question that I couldnt remember when typing the above questions, is there a way to execute a program on another computer, but have the program's i/o be on my main one, so I open firefox, it would be using another computer's resources?

what I meant is is it an os with great security designed as a hardware firewall, or a firewall to install over an os just normal pcs, so it scans data as it passes from my modem to my router

what is it? and are you sure antivirus would be impossible?
