This is theoretically even impossible... But it's working for you now, and why change something that's working? I guess it's something system-specific.
@mark49: did you compare it manually? I just deleted all HWIDs that started with 'VEN_10DE', assuming this is nVidia's vendor ID. That worked fine too But maybe I deleted too many? @cybpsych: thanks You've posted some driverupdates!!!
@mark49: you're 'ADDed' information: not correct because there are MULTIPLE .inf files in those folders. It's one big mess of HWIDs, I'll just leave it alone. Who cares for a couple of KiloBytes anyway. I won't be able to put everything online tonight. Probably there will be a flood of DriverPack updates this week-end
ROBOCOPY automatically creates a directory if it doesn't exist yet. So I think the problem must lie somewhere else. I've tested all 3 methods with success here. You DO have the latest version of the DriverPacks BASE?
Check this topic. This one is superseeded by that one... Only it is only working properly for Western languages of Windows XP... Unless you edit the files manually, then it's already universal.
When will it be up again ? 20 minutes ago I started downloading the lot, but came half way ... ← Site is already back online and running AND running significantly FASTER @Powerhouse: then I'll try to find the bug... @BAM: yes indeed Tomorrow night if all goes well
The website was timing out... I contacted the admin of my hosting provider and he agreed immediately when I asked him to move it to a better server (newer server, better uptime, more RAM, faster CPU). I wish I knew this before
