Have you removed Extra Fonts?

This was already discussed and in next version it won't delete cursors folder. Why it was like that you ask...well because many were complaining that there is too much empty folders left after the installation. Seems that with this cursors folder it was an exception that it's needed by some.

Did you used Program Files path change and also was it with leading \ like for system location? I just had the same issue in 2k and added that checkup, it only works in xp+

For repair disable Unattended setup, don't use that page...until there is an option for that if it's possible to selectively bypass. But what are you saying about difficulty to make it work, if you don't read descriptions and dependencies or not careful what you'll need then try VMWare or Virtual PC before you burn that iso.

I had the same issue but I remove almost all and I got there just to check something, never expected it to work. I think if you have Autoupdate service (which gets reinstalled by the WU site anyway) and you removed BITS service or something it needs you may experience that problem. hackwojr, regarding that, I finally hot some more experience with that issue. Check if your usbehci.sys file is lowercased? Also be sure to enable Upcase all files in nLite options.

If the file is already there then check the NTFS permissions if you have NTFS file system or does the blackbox tampers with the environment variables like SystemRoot ?

Only if every folder has appropriate txtsetup.oem file which I doubt, it's probably made with all entries parsed from some other custom made file. On the other hand today I tested display driver and lan packs when extracted and integrated as multiple driver folders, it works fine...but you better wait next version for that regarding some wrong pe checksums which are not auto-corrected by the present version.

huh never heard of it. Until this is more often and tracked down you can manually copy the files from the drive into some folder and browse to it.

MagicAndre1981, thanks for the theme fix tip! But about components, I got the MCE for trial and it's not just those, maybe you remove little and so it is for you but I must find maximum allowable removals to finish that compatibility option.
