Nothing worked, had to settle with putting unattended file and SP1 in Updates folder. This truly exceedes my computer skills. Will try to contact a college in Microsoft for pointers, but dont think it will help much, cause it seems this was made to be used the way it is now.

I deployed Office MM7 with SP1 in Updates folder via RunOnceEx string thanks to brilliant help by prathapml. Thanx! I have tried all night to reduce size of Office installation and to slipstream. I have reduced the size of SP1 by only keeping 1 essential msp update which is required for Excell/Word/Ppt deployment. It seems that problem of reducing size of Installation lies in setup installer, which cheks for files and folders. If i remove even 1 essential it failes right away. (some folders as Updates and Admin can be removed without getting any errrors at setup run). It seems that we need someone to decompile setup.exe and recompile it in image we want, or tonight I will try to trick it with blank install files (make file named same as un original you dont want to install and replace it) See ya tommorow with progress update.

Its all ok now, i damaged my system registry. I tried on new computer clean install and it works fine version i 9.0 build 55

Ok i rechecked at it seems i damaged my OS with constant installing / deinstalling of ACDSee, so i tried on virtual OS, and it works with no problems. Thanks for reply.

Have a problem with unattended install of acdsee 9. When i do "clasicall" install (next, next ,next) all works fine. When i do unattended everything installs fine but if i try to start acdsee it just start and exits right away (seen this by observing task manager) I do following cmdline : acdsee.msi /qb LICENSE_MODEL=Full PIDKEY=XXXXX YAHOO_TOOLBAR_INSTALL=0 REBOOT=REALLYSUPPRESS where XXXXX is replaced with serial number. I also tried installing directly from setup.exe but with no luck Any thoughts appreciated.

Ok that's all the info i needed, muchas gracias. I will not integrate drivers until relaease of sp3, then i will integrate all the drivers i can find into install. There are several big drivers packs here on forums. I have all the latest drivers except, u can guess, nforce Now that's fixed too

thanks, your reply helped The confusion started because i thought nforce drivers were unified for all nforce chipsets, similar to Via Hyperion drivers. Anyway which of those two is better driver pack... i cant see no difference between them. MEI's nWare Release 06.10 (x86) has gpu drivers and everything else is same with nForce 11.10 Unified Remix (x32/x64) So which is better in your opinion, or do u know someone that has tested both?

I type %SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 C:\temp\VIAEHCX1.INF to update VIA USB 2.0 drivers and I get "Installation failed" errror Also when I do right click - instal it seems like something is going on, but nothing changes. Why?

OK it works, now, all I did was to burn ISO in Ultra ISO instaed of ISO Commander, which is strange, since I have been it using all along... EDIT : Now I will try all of this again with ISO Commander, cause I'm curious as to whats causing this anomalies EDIT2 : It;s official, it doen't work if .iso image iso copiled with ISO Commander... Does anyone know why? P.S. At least problem solved

@skeebum tanx for the link, but I allready have entire site downloaded I followed the instruction by the letter. My XP works My ERD Commander work. But together only one work... if I put winbom.ini file in root of dvd, then only erd commander works, but if I remove it, only Xp works. I know I didn't do something write, cause people have done this by flyakite's way before, and it works for them.

Problem solved thanks to nlite FAQ that got my grey cells movin When u install erd commander u get 3 files in root : 1.WIN51IS 2.bootsect.bin 3.winbom.ini The winbom.ini file is causing the WINXP to give "insert disk labeled ..." errror I removed this file and now both XP installs work However, now ERD boot doesn't work. It gives NT detect failed error. Does anyone know a fix as to how to displace this files from root...

Because if you read the post you would know that I'm not doing this for myself I'm going with Mazin's solution, and also the more RAM comp has, the less faster hibernation works... along with other problems. I had hibernation problems on one PC so far, 5 out of 10 times, he cannot continue the hibernation wake up, so a clean boot is required(but that PC had 256kk of RAM)
