updates still listed in WU
I fixed KB923789 by putting it to SW2 and using Flash10 cab. KB956391 is still listed though. I'm trying to put it to SW1 folder now, will see if it helps.

updates still listed in WU
Hello, i've used HFSLIP to update my xp sp3 cd with latest hotfixes. after installing, however, it still lists KB956391 and KB923789 in WU. Is there any way I can fix that? For KB956391, i have tried putting both IE6 and IE7 versions of it into HF, and just IE7 version of it, but it's still listed. For KB923789, i tried putting both it alone, and swflash.cab, and it's still listed aswell.

Hotfixes 956390/1 slipstreamed, but not installed
hey guys, so what exactly is the decision on this issue? i'm getting that missing updat easwell, hfnetchk says: Scan performed Sat Nov 29 12:57:47 2008 Shavlik Technologies Network Security Hotfix Checker, 3.86 Using XML data version = 2008.11.11.0 Last modified on 2008/11/11. ---------------------------- QQ-AT-HOME (192.168.11.169) ---------------------------- * WINDOWS XP SP3 Patch NOT Installed MS08-058 956390 File C:\WINDOWS\system32\mshtml.dll has a file version [8.0.6001.18241] that is greater than what is expected [6.0.2900.5659]. - File C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdocvw.dll has a file version [6.0.2900.5512] that is less than what is expected [6.0.2900.5659] even on machine where IE8 is manually installed! so it would seem that hfnetchk fails to detect which ie version should be present. is there any way to make WU not suggest KB956390/1 after hfslip installation? thanks

lsass.exe - Not Enough Quota
IE7 integration works when using OnePiece's addon, but fails with quota error when trying to use exe directly.

lsass.exe - Not Enough Quota
I also get that error. Trying to work out what went wrong now. It disappeared when I removed IE7, but then IE was unfunctional after installation..

New XP3/IE7/WMP11/DX9 build
Me to am trying to make an SP3 + all the post SP3 hotfixes + dx9 + wmp11 + ie7 + .net frameworks install cd, and i don't even know where to start.. i'm not sure where to download all the updates and how to integrate them (and i really do want to integrate, not just make them run after install..)

Easiest way to create up-to-date install CD
I've read it now. Frankly, I'm still confused. First of all, all the methods of getting the latest hotfixes are either very manual, or outdated (the thread on msfn, the ryanvm pack, the updates downloader list..). And second, I'm still not sure which method is correct way to *integrate* the updates (so that they replace the files, instead of being run after setup..)

Easiest way to create up-to-date install CD
But thing is, I don't want unattended setup. Nor I want to integrate any additional software whatsoever. All I want is a setup, where all the updates till that day would be integrated. I was thinking, surely, there must be some tools and collections to do that, instead of manually collecting all the updates..? ===== Post Nº 2 ===== I've just read the link you provided. I think it should answer most of my questions. Sorry for.. useless thread

Easiest way to create up-to-date install CD
Hello, with all the different slipstreaming/integration tools available, what would be an easiest way to take a SP3 XP CD, and integrate all the post-SP3 updates into it? I was thinking about RyanVM pack, but it seems to be out of date already.. Thanks for any clues.

Modifying and Customizing Office 2007 Ribbon UI
very nice find indeed! it's sad, however, to see that now you have to do all that, instead of just conveniently dragging and dropping buttons around...

[RELEASE] Nero 7 Lite / Micro v7.7.5.1
i also agree that it would be very nice to have version with only Nero itself - no express, no covers, no audio editor.. or is micro for that? i can't find what does micro include..
