This may be a simple question but for the life of me i cant figure out how to fix it....here goes.....Under My Computer in XP it breaks your devices down by catagory in a nice neat format...well mine has dissappeared and i would like it back!!...lol...all i get now are the standard folder views...details, ETC...Anyone have a clue?????... Same here for me with a Logitech USB camera...even WITH the " Supposed" XP drivers....

I had almost the same issue....My problem was when i partitioned with Partition Magic it didnt assign a drive letter to my " Dowloads" partition..Once i opened Part Magic and assigned a letter to it everything came out just peachy.....:blueteam

I have that version as well and it works great!!...Its agreat game for C & C fans but those who enjoy the " God Like" gameplay in C&C most will most likely be dissappointed...But i have enjoyed the game very muck!! Dave:angel :assshake

Correct Brad....just setup a dialup modem and most important is make sure the dial up modem has a line filter on it or it wont work and you SHOULD be able to surf and send a fax at the same time....good Luck:D

Instead of choosing a modem does your FAX software allow you to choose a TCP/IP connection??...The same way one would use AOL over a DSL connection....Just a thought...:blueteam

I too downloaded the Gowenna vesrion and i actually used winimage to bust the bin file then burnt it with nero and it worked like a gem..the second bin file contains the serial and no cd crack....just my 2 cents!:blueteam

Yes i was dragging and not cutting and pasting and that does work...just thought maybe i missed soemthing a setting or something..it isnt that big a deal just kinda annoying....

I realize this MAY NOT be a XP problem but i have to say i never noticed it on any other OS..What i have is single boot machine with XP corp ( the real one) and a WD 7200 RPM 100Gig Drive...with my drive partitioned with 2 other partitions...one for downloads and one for storage....Now my dilemma is whenever i try and move a file from one of my OTHER partitions to my desktop it leaves a copy of the file on the partition..that i have to go back and delete after moving the file...Does anyone know if in fact there is a setting somewhere in XP that i can disable this function??...i have serached to no avail in XP and cant find anything....Any help would be appreciated...

I may be able to help if i had some more info...For example Type of modem, which ISP....OA or OE connection...let me know and i'll see if i can help...:spaced

Since someone brought up defraggers for XP....I personally like Executive's Diskkeeper....the newest version supports XP and will defrag the pagefile if you are using NTFS which Windows defragger doesnt do.....
