  3. I turned off Solution and Problem History.... Doesn't help me at all.
  4. I'm using ffdshow + matroska splitter and never had any issues, including for the HD media.
  5. Do you have the TCP/IP v.6 enabled by any chance?
  6. The method described here provides a way to enable AHCI after windows is installed. Should you want to have AHCI enabled from the start (before installing windows), you must follow the F6 method or integrate the chipset drivers into the windows installation disk either using nLite or through driverpacks. Hope this answers your question.
  7. Either way I think you should have put it in the Funny Farm
  8. Now that you have the .dmp file compressed, find a place on the internet where you can upload that file and come back with the link to it for cluberti to have a look at it. And yes, I'm sure cluberti is still willing to help, but we are all here volunteers
  9. Make sure you have USB Mouse Support turned On in BIOS.
  10. As all new technology, the prices will be somewhat high upon arrival, then go down as new technology will emerge. The price will definitely go down when AMD will come out with their new K10 processors (Phenom).
  11. I second puntoMX's suggestion for the Gigabyte board. I've had it for some time now and can only appraise it. It's VERY stable, no issues and it has all-solid capacitors. Plus it offers a great flexibility in terms of overclocking (I'm running an Intel E6600 @ 3.6GHz from 2.4 stock, obviously not with the stock cooler ). See my signature for my system details.
  12. After first reboot enter BIOS and chose HDD as first boot device.
  13. Boot off the XP install CD and chose REPAIR.
  14. Unless you plan to use 4GB (or more) of RAM, stick to 32-bit.
  15. @queensoft The installation did not succeed (by looking at your attachment).
  16. Forget the idea of running Vista in such a minimalist configuration, no matter how much you vLite it... Even XP stock will struggle on that configuration.
  17. My point in different words (sorry cluberti, couldn't resist )
  18. Does it happen when you start in Safe Mode? If not, configure your pc for a full memory dump, archive the resulting file and upload it somewhere on the internet for us to have a look at it.
  19. PM me with your problem in your native language and I'll try to sort it out since your english is.... let's say less than I can understand. No hard feelings.
  20. Yes, it is possible, just make sure you have some CD inserted in the drive when you map it.
  21. I believe you should read the forum rules. That's regarding your username. As for your issue, we'd like to know (as Ponch suggested) if those hard-disks were set up in some kind of RAID array before. The more info you provide us with, the more we can help you.
  22. What happens when you populate the volumes?
  23. AFAIK Vista media is the same for all versions, what makes the difference is the key used for installation.
