I want to eliminate the Media Player shortcut that appears on the desktop for each user. Even if I turn off the icon desktop setting in the registry I still get the icons Is there a setting to get rid of the icon? Any other ideas? Thank you to all that respond.

Give this a try: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT that is still per user setting.

Hi I need a command line to hide hard drives, can anyone suggest anything please.

1. I downloaded the trial version of Nero 7.7.5.1 to try with Windows Vista Business, and I can't get Nero to Install. It extracts all the files to the temp folder, and I get the please wait while nero 7 configures itself with the status bar, and then the dialog box just disappears.
