  1. To tell you the truth I have not read the entire license. Guess I should read it beginning to end. Though I personally would not use and Imaging tool as a backup tool.
  2. WOW, Anonymous_user a post without a repeat! Must be catching on to the game! GEAN
  3. Neither of those is really a backup utility. Are you wanting to do the backup while the machines are up and running or are you planning on booting from other media and the manually performing the backup? You could just as easily you the Windows Imaging format to do this and not spend a dime on software if you don't want an automated solution.
  4. See post 2, worked like a charm.

  7. MONE is a repeat. return to MONT and try again. Goning to have to add a stat. 'Poster with the most repeats'

  9. it was 976 when you added my word in that post. 19 Repeats: BASE CASE CAST DASH FAST FLEE FLOP GOOD GOOP MALE MATE MEAT MILE MOOD SLIT SLOB SOLE VASE WITH new word: BOLE I was trying to avoid posting a picture, but I think that is where I am heading. Look for more stats on the next page.
  10. if you have IE set to the default of automatically detecting proxy the proxy settings can be done by setting up a autoconfig script on the appropriate server.
  11. Not sure how I missed those. Thanks NOTS3W. Added into my list and the stats have been adjusted to reflect the missing words. Anyone know how to post a formatted table in a reply here? Any method I have tried the formatting is removed. 12. Hey, Anonymous_user got a post in without a repeat! WILT
  13. Exit - Exits a block of Do…Loop, For…Next, Function, Sub, or Property code. But continues with any remaining code. End - Terminates execution immediately. Never required by itself but may be placed anywhere in a procedure to end code execution, close files opened with the Open statement and to clear variables.
  14. don't think this is going to be possible via a script. There isn't even the ability to change the c=volume via script. You are looking at needing an application VB or C to do this. Might be easier to use DEVCON and enable/disable the cards as needed.
  15. DOLT has been use. go back to HOLT and continue.
  16. Thanks for the info. Looks like this ill work if I can work one thing out. The existing proxy server we have requires authentication. Is there a way to automatically pass the windows credentials to authenticate? EDIT: Ok, the real question is how do I get IE to ask for authentication, or use the windows auth. It works as I would have expected in Firefox and asks for authentication. IE just gives an error. EDIT 2: Seems to be a setting being dumped to my machine via domain GPO. Now I get to try and track it down.

  18. It should be a matter of entering the proper LDAP path and having rights to the machines in the path. If you are using the command line switches you might try enclosing the path in quotes though it should not be required. If you are doing it from the settings menu it won't matter. Are you running it from a machine which is a member of the domain? Not necessarily the desire OU but a domain member.
  19. Actually this depends upon the drive. Most thumb drives will be removable, external hard drives are not normally.
  20. Sorry anonymous_user BOOR has already been used. MOOD WORD LIST: Statistics: 641 posts 7131 views 893 words 17 words repeated 10 words since last repeat (GOOP) missed it last time. 284 longest run without a repeat (GOOD -> WITH) 9 the shortest run between repeats ( DASH -> GOOD) 5 the number of repeats in a row without a new word (FAST CAST CASE BASE VASE) 12 repeats caught and denied in the next post 20 most new words in a single sentence. 23 most new words in a paragraph. 16 most new words added by a post without a sentence. 31 number of members who have participated in this thread Top 10 posters: 111 - IcemanND 104 - NOTS3W 85 - Idontwantspam 56 - anonymous_user 51 - Mijzelf 35 - spacesurfer 34 - TAiN 32 - Railman5 27 - N1K 20 - DL And one person who joined the forum in 2005, and his SOLE post to date is on this list and he has not been back since. So far the only letter not used, you guessed it 'Q'.
  21. check out the driverpacks from Bashrat. driverpacks.net
  22. What poorly written driver are you dealing with? But look at DEVCON from Microsoft. It is a command line tool for device management.
  23. First you don't boot from the image you captured. Ghost images are not bootable. Second there is a utility as part of ghost 8+ call the ghost boot wizard, if you run it you get the option of creating different types of boot disks. From the sound of it you want the drive mapping boot disk, which would then set you up to map a drive to the machine containing your ghost image, then you would run ghost and apply that image to the machine.
  24. '93? You were slow. '79 - 1.77mhz, 16kb memory, 2 - 5 1/4" single sided floppy drives, tape deck, black and white screen (32x16 or 64x16 text) 128x48 graphic. Never could kill that TRS-80 model 1. great machine for its day, built to last, it was still working the day it was thrown out in 1993. CD, hard drive, color, yeah right.
  25. I don't come around for a few hours and the whole list gets all screwed up. I think this will get us to YELD I think I got it all cleaned up and straightened out. This wasn't bad, the last one was better. The question is can you get the list back to a match with KILT to get you 20 word sentence back in the stats.
